ElTerprise: But the question would be if you could've lived without knowing that insane crap? :)
Probably. But, insane crap beats boring crap every single time.
avatar

Stilton: Anyone played Osmos?
No, can't say I have. Looks like it might be interesting, though.

AgentBirdnest: Just realized that the 20th was a year since my GI bleed. I remember exactly where I was when I first passed out. General Discussion :-p ... And I've never liked the place since then n__o
Went into a deep depression for a month or so after that... Got tired of the community here, and tired of life in general. Mid-November I started coming out of it. Right around the same time the Fall Sale started. Found the tracker thread, met a bunch of excellent people there (who still post here regularly. I won't list them because I'm sure I'll leave someone out, but you know who you are ;-p) and stuck around for the Winter sale tracker thread, and eventually this one. Still wasn't doing too well at the time, if anyone remembers the "old" me, but these days I'm doing better than ever. Special shout out to those who gave me a hand and kept me company when I was down. Odd as it sounds, being the internet, and we have never been in the same room, the people here had a hand in helping me become a new person. Thank you all. I'll never forget it.
[/randomly reminiscing] pay no attention to me ;-)
I haven't got the time to properly say hello or to catch up with you all beyond lurking today, but I had to pop in and say that this really made me smile.

*To all of you, I wish you a wonderful evening/night/morning/noon/second breakfast/etc

*hugs and waves all around*

Yeah, I have. A lot. Too much, really. An unhealthy amount. I really liked it :-)

Its worth a go for an unusual take on physics. You propel yourself around absorbing the opposition and getting bigger, but too much propulsion and you lose size and become prey. From that simple idea the devs manage to keep it interesting and challenging. Looks good, too.

Same to you, Mr Ton.
See you later. Sleep well, and dream of cupcakes, puppies, and many other yummy/cuddly things ;-)

Hmm. Well, if you don't have anything cheaper that you want more, I'd say go for it. It's not that expensive.
Course, for the same price you could pick up three list items that are all on sale right now.

Have a good night, sleep well. =)
I'm not going to say it's a carbon copy, because it's not, but The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena really does like reusing certain sequences from Escape From Butcher Bay. I'm close to making escape number two in Assault On Dark Athena, I think there were three "You made it! Oops you didn't" attempts in the first game.

Forgot to mention what seems to be a continuity error on the part of the game. I finally faced off against the Big Bad and managed to propel them into a giant industrial fan which visibly chopped them to bits and pieces. None of it was a cutscene or scripted, it's just how the fight progressed. A little while later the Big Bad shows back up with nary a scratch and ready for another fight. I'm guessing the game didn't expect for the fight to end up in the room with the fan, much less with the Big Bad going into it, but it was still a bit funny. Unless of course I mistook the enemy for the Big Bad but it seemed to have the same character model and voice...

superstande: Do you know if the rumour I read is happening next month, that netflix is abandoning some of its movie content?
I'm not sure if it's global or if it's really gonna happen...
avatar
CarrionCrow: From what I read, they're losing a bunch of stuff because a large company that holds quite a few movie and television licenses is choosing to work with Hulu instead.
Okay thanks! ...I'm not sure what to make of it but I guess we'll see in October... One reason to stay with netflix would be Z Nation... if the second season is coming. I liked the first season more than Walking Dead (which I thought quite boring...)
