Stilton: The tent does smack of a little desperation (unlike the moon, which is of course completely plausible...)

Waiting to find your next home is SUCH a pain in the crapper. A whole year and either money, internet access, asbestos, lamebrained occupants, estate agents setting the wrong price, hyenas living next door, the commute, or anything else you care to name, seem to be conspiring completely against us. I mean, we're good people, we pay our taxes, we recycle whatever we can, we don't pick our noses or fart in public, and still we're living in limbo (no, that's not a small Somerset village.) The longer it takes the more peeved we get.

Alchemy is the solution, or alcohol. At the moment I don't really care which.
Yeah, it sounds like you've been running the gauntlet of seemingly every possible problem and complication. Heavy frustration is very understandable.

Would go with alchemy if you have to choose between the two. Alcohol just makes you temporarily not give a crap about it all.
Does anything now a secular/humanist equivalent of a prayer or mass?

Because I just finished a 20 part 24 minute vocal piece and I'll be smeared over the wall if I give it a name that's got anything to do remotely with religion or prayer or superior morality complexes.

I thought about calling it "(The) Compassion for the suffering" or "vocal moral Support for the oppressed" ; the second is nearer to the mark, but the first sounds a whole lot better.

Any ideas?
Good evening everyone *big hugs and waves* :)

How're things in Greece? ANd how're you?
Good time of day GOGers!

Well I sent a refund request for Starpoint Gemini 2 and its DLC Secrets of Aethera. It runs at a fairly unplayable framerate despite my meeting its minimum requirements. I'm not really expecting a refund but I wouldn't mind having my $15 back.
Afternoon GOGgers. How are we all today?

Good evening. =)

Thinking there's a good chance that GOG will pass you the money back since you actually read the requirements and made sure you had it covered beforehand. They'll probably have some ideas on how to get it running better, but if nothing works, that should be all that's required.

Watching videos while slowly roasting and wondering when autumn's going to get here.
