EndreWhiteMane: Believe it or not I never did manage to get it the first few times I tried.
I think I'm the only person in history who actually WANTED to buy it and kept missing it. :-)
Haven't played it yet of course. :)
Hahaha, in that case I wish you good luck. Such a gem of a game has to come back on sale at some point, right? ;)

Anyhow, I'm really tired and I should probably go to bed. Have a good night, everyone, and talk to you later!

ElTerprise: Sounds good. I'm curious. What series do you spent your money on?
I got Camelot and The White Queen, and my sister bought Hannibal and Bates Motel. We share pretty much all of our film-related stuff so I'll be watching all of them probably. :P

Stilton: Was Keane 2 the dread spawn of the now legendary Keaning?

I must've blocked it out like some awful childhood trauma, because I can't remember.

CarrionCrow: Keane 2 was the source of the whole Keaning thing. Don't feel badly about forgetting, it was boring as all hell. If not for the combo of high price and sales format, it'd be just another run of the mill point and click.
Not just ANY pnc can help dozens of people get some much needed sleep.
I'm grateful. ;)

Don't actually know any of those - heard of them but that's all. But i'll look them up tomorrow (read: in a few hours ^^). That's nice :)

Good night and sleep well *big good night hug*
See you later :)

I just remember some awful game that no one wanted hovering in front of my eyes for what felt like a week of darkness. Why the hell did I stay up and wait so long, aside from my slavering desire to get another and yet another bargain? But hell, I was young in those days and new to the masochism that passes for a GOG endurofest.

Why? Because it was fun at the time. Maybe combined with not having a few years worth of backlog like you do now.
Alright. I'm off to work now. See you all later!

I agree on both counts, although my reading of 'fun' in conjunction with the 'pain' I was suffering would be different now.

The backlog was the engine behind it, I think, that need to have a whole slew of games ready to be ignored for years to come and added to on a regular basis.

Bye, Elt, have a good night/morning ;-)

The time's just past early in the morning and its time I was horizontal.

Have fun all, and see you soon ;-)
Goodbye to the folks leaving, hello to everyone else!

I just finished Shadowrun Returns. Now either it's a VERY short game, or I sunk a lot more time into it then I thought, considering it has taken less than three days to complete. Either way I mostly enjoyed it. Guess I'll get ready to do a long review in the Games Finished In 2015 thread.

Yes, probably. The perspective changes a bit. It's still fun, but it's not "Oh man, I need to stay up no matter what."

But of course. It's always better when a hobby turns the corner and starts feeling slightly unhealthy.

Have a good night, sleep well. =)
Just looked at a Twitter feed that linked to a bunch of news stories. After reading a few, I am now thoroughly reminded of why I don't read the news on any kind of regular basis.
It's official.
Today was the hottest day of the year here in my town.
The notebook I use simply shut down itself a couple of times due the heat.

ps. I know this will be a lousy night. I'm never able to sleep properly with heat.

Here in the south is raining quite hard today and it got a little bit colder tonight.
