LaPtiteBete: I'm good, thanks !! :))
And so is Leon... yes, we name him Leon today...it might not be definitive...
How are you ??
**Big happy tired hugs**
Glad to hear that :)
I'm good too.

Leon is a nice name - like it *big happy return hug*

akhliber: So, on to SOMA...

Have any of you given it a go? I'm excited to see it, and hoping to become immersed and completely unsettled. I'm still enjoying Fallout: New Vegas, but though it's still a great gaming experience, it started feeling a lot less like wandering alone in a post-apocalyptic world, and I think that was where the really good "therapy session" of it all was coming into play. I'm pretty confident SOMA will at the very least be interesting and leave an impression on me. :)

I wish you all a beautiful day!
Hi akh ;-)

I haven't tried SOMA, but its on my to get list and it definitely appeals. The reviews are reassuringly good, too. It looks like one of those titles you inhabit rather than play, which I always enjoy (provided they're good quality).

Sorry to hear you're feeling up, down and sideways at the moment. One thing you sound good at his devising strategies to get you through the wobbly spells, and you have great backup in Mrs Akhliber and young Sarge. I always feel a little helpless sending well wishes (I'd far rather lay hands on and oust the thing for good - if only) but looking on the positive side beats the pants off feeling down about it, and your head is certainly in the right place ;-)

Regular updates on SOMA, please ;-)

Stilton: I'm really well, thank you! Leon sounds like a nice name ;-)

The 'forcing him to eat' part sounds concerning. I would've thought that a youngster would want to eat as much as he can get. Maybe he has some kind of stomach problem or doesn't like how/what he's being fed? I assume you have phoned somewhere for advice (phew, I sound like his long lost grandfather!)

You're doing a great job, Nurse, and you deserve to feel proud. He's lucky you came along ;-)

Thank you for the game advice. I think I'll play some Papers, Please and then some Resonance and see which one I feel like continuing with.

Are you yawning today? Maybe you need a nap...
Thanks, Stillts !
In fact, he seems to eat rather willingly with me, but not with others... which is bothering, because some days I won't be at the office at all, because of work appointments... :-\ I hope he'll change his mind until then (Thursday...).
He keeps the food down and even went to the 'toilets' today, woohoo \o/ (yes... we, fake-cat-moms, are happy, when a tiny kitty shits in our hands...)
I look forwards to read your review then !!! :))
And, yeah, I wouldn't say no to a nap, unfortunately I'm not sure my boss will be happy about this idea... as much as I'm not sure she will be happy to see Leon in her office... I'll tell you than later (she could be here within an hour)... ,',',,',' :-|

Stilton: It was great seeing the faces of some of the GOG family – I found Agent, Bete, Crewdroog, Endre, Fearful, Palio, Soccorro and Superstande. Were there any others?

If you feel like looking at a fierce Viking I've attached an image.

You'll be surprised to learn that most people think my horns aren't the real thing – I can't imagine why...
Here I am. :-)

Stilton: Well look at that, I'm 200....

And I second ElTerprise in suggesting Leo as the name for our new mascot!
avatar
LaPtiteBete: 2 for Leo...
heeeey, congrats on your 200 rep !!! \o/ that deserves a toaast !!! :D
**throwing confettis** \o/
Add another vote.
I can live in a world with another Leo. :-)
Silly story: Back in school, in my 8th grade, my class had five Leo's. It was always amusing when a teacher called our name and five guys responded.

akhliber: Thanks, I appreciate it! I find it interesting how less-than-ideal states of mind seem to be what I find most encouraging when it comes to trying new things. Gives me enough of a push to step into something a bit out of my comfort zone, so there is growth and good in it all as well. :)

I'm glad to hear the little guy is doing okay, and that he is responding to you so positively! When Sarge started responding that way to me when we took him in, and he would suckle on the inside of my elbow like I was his mama, it was the most endearing thing. Got my heart right quick!
*Big return hugs*
Yes, you're right !!... Sometimes you need a little kick in the *ss to try new things... out of your comfort zone, as you say ! :)
Hooo... those little heart tihefs... :'-| **sigh** !

We had only 2 Lucies in my class :D
How are you doing ?...

Maybe group feeding sessions are a way of getting him used to someone else, and group crapping sessions, too (I mean all of you there when Leon craps, not all of you crapping----- never mind)

If your boss has a heart I'm sure she'll soften to the little waif. If she doesn't you know what to do with the crap...

And you have permission to go to the broom cupboard for a quick sleep ;-)

Hi super ;-)

Glad you mandatory cleaning is done. I've got so much that a mandatory knocking the house down and rebuilding it might be easier.

I haven't even looked at the sale yet...

Hi, Leo, Leo, Leo, Leo, Leo ;-)

I went back and got you this morning, but thanks for the link.

You've now joined the others in my Rogue's Gallery ;-)
Whoa!
If you have a spare moment, please bombard the Ninja Father X-mas EIT with +1's :)
He just dropped a major game gift for me... okay it was some old promise he had made (out of his mind!) long time ago .. ah it's good to keep promises, I can vouch for that ;)

Thanks for the kind words! I appreciate it! I also feel helpless when it comes to well wishes, as I feel I have such a lousy grasp on language and that I'll come across as insincere. I think I always have that fear in general when communicating with others, though, to be completely honest. ;)
I've certainly got wonderful support in the lady and pup... they make everything more than worth it in the very worst of times.
I'll certainly give updates on SOMA, so long as I don't chicken out and throw my controller out the window somewhere along the line. :)

Howdy Stilton! :)
Well... just bring all the stuff out... set the house on fire, rebuild from new materials & bring everything back and you'll be all set in a new clean home by six p.m. for a nice cold one :p

So you had already found me. Good.
Though the link is correctly written it goes to the wrong place.
Go figure why this happens. :-P

That's what I thought, yes... that's why I suggested that my colleague fed him at lunch, so he's not owlways with me... it's not good that he's only with one person, because he could develop an fear of separation when I'm not at home, and destroy stuff (and hurt himself, too)... :-\
Lol'd at your group crapping sessions (I didn't read the second part) XD ...
My boss is surprised, but not against the little dude's presence here ; she even called him our "mascot" \o/ pheeeww !! :D
