ElTerprise: xD.....my rep is not found
avatar
ddickinson: Of course not, it looked for you at home but your home is gone. :-)

avatar
l0rdtr3k: Aren't you forgetting someone,D?
avatar
ddickinson: Hello, little blob! *big hug*

How are you today?

avatar
LaPtiteBete: So, you gave a toast in a vampire meeting ? awesome.
avatar
ddickinson: I bet it was those darn whiny Twilight type vampires. :-)
Still living. But I feel that I need to confess something.
avatar
ElTerprise: Phew....:P
Exactly. It was rather convenient. Directly located in the University hospital. No didn't do anything stupid. I nearly collapsed once after the donation and since then i'm really careful.
I should do it again... I haven't done this since I'm a mom :-\
(I collapsed, once :D in the bus... that was really embarrassing).
avatar
FearfulSymmetry: Haha, that's good. :P And it's really admirable that you were donating blood!

It was good. I'm getting a new nose spray that I have to try for a few more weeks, and if that doesn't work they're going to burn away part of the mucous membrane in my nose.
avatar
ElTerprise: Thanks. Doing that for about five years now. :)
Glad to hear that and hopefully the spray will help because the alternative doesn't sound very pleasant...

avatar
l0rdtr3k: At least you have rep.
avatar
ElTerprise: It's only a number - doesn't tell you anything about the person. But i only found the 404 hilarious :D
avatar
LaPtiteBete: I took care, don't worry. Only your house is destroyed ... you're welcome. :)
So, you gave a toast in a vampire meeting ? awesome.
I hope you didn't do anything stupid, like skipping the light meal, and running after your bus right after you donated your blood :)
**Bigger hug**

But I can't help and feel that someone or some people have something against me.

Yuck....not those losers....more of the Nosferatu type :P

ddickinson: Kind of, we were plating a table top game called Space Hulk. It is a two player game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. We played it the last two evening, taking it in turns playing each side. Originally we were looking for a regular game to play, but we saw that and decided to give it a play.

What kind of board games do you enjoy playing? I enjoy pretty much anything, as long as I enjoy being with the person I am playing with I can play just about anything. :-)
Never played that one, but I heard something good about it. I might enjoy it even if I don't like the Warhammer-Setting so much - it's too much targeting on 13yo boys for my taste.

Well, my taste ranges from standard-Euros like Agricola and Puerto Rico via light cardgames to Fantasy-Flight-Ameritrash like Battlestar Galactica or Arkham Horror. Our collection has grown to more than 400 games and some expansions over the last 10 years.

Yes, I'm crazy ;)

Edit: Yeah, I've won The Stanley Parable on the guessing-giveaway! Cool!

Haaaaaaaaa :-D
Excellent choice !! \o/

FearfulSymmetry: Really awesome. I've never done it but maybe I should look into doing it.

I hope the spray will help too, but I have my doubts. At least I am glad I have options now. :P
I'd say just try it out... i was really reluctant but since i'm really glad that i decided to donate blood regularly

Indeed. But the spray sounds better nonetheless :P

No knowledge of Warhammer is needed for Space Hulk, it is the basic human vs alien on an abandoned ship plot. A bit like Alien if it the ship was full of marines and there were more aliens.

The 40,000 setting is actually quite good, IMO. I find it a lot more appealing and in-depth than a lot of other things like that. Given that it started as a simple game it has a vast amount of lore and things. It is definitely not perfect, and not to everyones tastes, but I do not mind it.

That is a lot of games. I bet there are many hours of fun to be had there. :-)

Or are you rushing back home to save your Twilight figurines from the fire? :-)

Take care and have a good day. I hope it goes well at the eye doctors.

(Is an eye doctor the same as an optician?)

ElTerprise: Uh...not very pleasant....hope it wasn't too serious :)
Not at all... I ate a little chocolate a kind old woman gave to me, and I was back on my feet again :)
avatar
l0rdtr3k: Hi Owl. How're the Owlets doing?
Great, thanks !! :)
I can't wait to see the eldest again (I pick him up back on Friday evening... 2 weeks that I won't have seen him !)
How are you (aside from being upset by possible haters)... ? I hope you have a nice day anyway...

Nope it is not. The doctor can do all examinations regarding eye problems and the opticians are the people who sell you glasses and contact lenses in stores. And while they can do a normal acuteness of vision check that's it.
