FearfulSymmetry: Yep, they already made the scan on my previous visit, I just had to wait until today to hear the results. I don't think the spray will do much, as I've already tried two variations on this medicine and nothing has ever worked. I'm guessing this won't be much different, but at least now I know I'll get the surgery if it doesn't work.

I hope you'll be able to stay awake, then. :) *energizing hug* Hopefully your energy will start to return a bit soon. Good to hear you're doing otherwise okay today.
Well fingers crossed that the new spray will work. Surgery is never nice, but it is good that there is an alternative should the spray not work .

I figure I will try to stay awake another hour or so then have a quick nap before my partner gets home. My energy levels are still very low, but hopefully I can stop sleeping most of the day.

*big thank you and get well soon hug*

akhliber: Typing from mobile device so pardon any clumsy typing errors, I just wanted to say hello to the fine folks of this thread before leaving the another day at the hospital... No serious procedures today, just some infusion therapy due to severe dehydration and low iron. I have a feeling I may sleep right through it.
They have network access there, so if I can keep myself awake enough, I'll be able to catch up with the thread to see how you have all been doing today in just a couple hours.

I hope you are all having a lovely day, or are otherwise as comfortable and happy as you are able.
*hugs all around*
I hope everything will go well at the hospital. *big good luck hug*

I am doing very good today, excluding my health of course. I hope you will have a good day, despite the medical stuff.

ddickinson: Yeah, it is bound to be the boys' fault. :-)

He was not home? Well I guess if you can't get in then you will have to burn the whole house. We need that mattress gone for giving him a bad back. :-)

Maybe the cows are just scared to open their mouths around you incase you eat their tongues. :-)

*random hug*
Yes !
And no... Well, let's do this... Let's burn ElT's house to the ground... tant pis !
**Put on safety glasses, pull flamethrower out of pocket, and steadfastly fly away to ElT's place**
(they'd be wise to be careful, yeah ;-p)
Sometimes I feel like there are people with some grudge against me.

FearfulSymmetry: Hey Owl, how are you doing today? :)

Haha, not the entire nose, don't worry! Apparently the layer of mucous membrane I have inside my nose is about three times as thick as it should be, so they'd be burning away part of that layer.
I'm great, thanks !! :))
Ha... and I imagine having a thick badass membrane causes you trouble ?...
It sounds painful anyway, I hope you're under general anesthetic when they do that, brr !! :-|

You did remember to check if he was home this time before you set the place on fire? o_O

Yep, hopefully it will actually work, but if it doesn't I'm at least relieved there's an alternative. :)

Seems like a good idea, that way you can be a bit more rested when she gets home. :) *more hugs*

Good to hear! *happy hug*

Haha, yeah, that might be part of the reason why I can't smell very well and why my nose always feels stuffed. :P It might be influencing my ear troubles as well. They don't use general anaesthetic for this, they just anaesthetize your nose. I don't think this is a very serious procedure.
