It's about two hours by train to get home, but the annoying thing is that I will have to travel back again tomorrow as I have to go to the hospital on Wednesday.

Thanks *big hug*

And now I'm leaving again because I have to prepare. *waves and hugs for everyone*

Hmm. Wait until some time between late December and mid-January? Will do. =)

Can't complain here. Hanging out, waiting to see if anything good shows up on sale today. Usual thrilling stuff.
Sorry you're not feeling a hundred percent, hope that goes away after some more caffeine.

Taking a break from Id games at the moment. Somehow ended up playing two at once. Trying to decide what to toss in along with those so I don't burn out. Maybe a point-and-click, something without running around and shooting everything that moves.

... late December and mid-January ? +__+ ... **big thrill** brrrr.... could you rather put some hot wine (with load of spices and orange bits) or Legendary Hot Chocolate (tm) in mine, please ? :D
Thanks for your wishes... I'm working on it !! already sipping my second big mug of coffee...

So you found a way to play Quake properly? Edit: I mean with music etc...?
Point-and-click sounds good - although one could argue that this might not be too different to shooters because they require pointing and clicking as well :P

Well...I could do that. But here's the thing. If I fill the water guns full of cold liquid, then start shooting at you with them, you'll run away, which in turn makes you warmer. So it all works out.

Just grabbed my first here. Got a bottle of soda to go with, but it's not the same.

No, not yet. Everything I do doesn't work. Finally said to hell with it and started playing. I'm not such a huge FPS fan that I'll be playing Quake a thousand times after I beat it, it'll be on the dead pile within a few days. So no need to keep stressing about it.

-laughs- Hadn't thought of that. Might do a strategy game instead.

But at least the music is technically available unlike the rental version :)
I guess that's the right attitude then - and frankly i'd probably do the same when i'll be playing Quake :)

Still a point and click genre but it be better :P
Although it depends on whether you'll be playing a RTS or a TBS :)

Can't really expect 20 year old games to work without a hitch all the time, even with all GOG does to get them up and running for everyone.

Haven't gotten that far. Might wait to decide until after some sleep.

That's true although i never really had problems with games so far :)

Sounds like good plan :).
