I'm juck back from the laundry hanging grounds (is there an English word for it?). Got my share of the "coder's worst enemies": Fresh air, sunlight and the unbearable bellowing of the birds ;-)

Should have finished them by July, but I was on holiday and didn't have all the paperwork together...
Wait, so you mean you get some kind of mercy period to do them if you forget/are busy?
So much for German squareness. I'm disappoint.
Over here it's a "you snooze, you lose" kind of deal.
Of course since you get something like 4 or 5 months to do them, that'd be a really long snooze.

I think the english language equivalent would be a clothesline.

Yeah, well... You can start doing it in May, and have time to do it until the end of July. But you can apply for prolonging the time frame, that's not a big problem. German tax system is terribly complicated, so they have to be a little forthcoming here.

Can't think of an English word. I actually wish the weather would be something like that here but it's the usual cloudy weather here :)

Hello! just took a nice nap. Also seems sleeping with a half empty coffee cup was a bad idea.

That sounds good - and i personally don't mind it being a bit cloudy when having barbecue :)

Yes a long time does not bode well.
My wife was once in a hospital for two weeks, it was quite nerve wrecking at times.
But doctors may also take days and days waiting for results from something, like in my wife's case.
And she recovered alright.
