LaPtiteBete: Good afternoon, N2T3 :)
Would you please tell us if the game worth its price, once you'll have bought and played it ?
I keep an interested eye on this one too... :)
I will do so!

In the meantime you can try out its official demo here http://killmondaygames.itch.io/fran-bow-official-demo

A website you can buy games on. I've used it in the past.

You're welcome!

It's another game store, kinda like Bandcamp for games. Devs/publishers can make their own bundles and set their own sales, lots of Pay What You Want games are available there, it generally has a better selection than Desura although there is some junk. All in all I like Itch.io, I've found a ton of really solid freeware/PWYW games that I couldn't have found elsewhere.

Yep, I've picked up a lot of nice free games there as well, and I've bought a couple too. Seems to be a pretty decent platform.

I'm interested in Fran Bow as well, but I can't quite justify buying it right now, so it's going on the wishlist.

Thanks for the support guys.
the lady with the new tires just arrived so they will be changing them shortly oh and by the way the spare tire looks like it came from a bicycle.

Good news everyone! The junkyard door handle works. I wasn't sure it would because it comes from an older model, but it does. Which means I can open that door once more.

And the junkyard guy charged me 5 bucks for it.
The official brand wanted me to fork over 70.

GreenDamsel: Yes PnP. Had an ex who was into DSA. Never got around to try it. Is it good? Aside DnD I've only played Shadowrun.
What games do you like to play? All the ones I don't like?^^

toxicTom: DSA is... different. More detailed in way (life-simulating), but also often awkward or clumsy to handle. Combat can take forever...
We play DSA3 with a lot of custom rules and kind of an "alternate history" scenario. And it's DSA because +20 years ago I stumbled into a DSA group and bought a few rulebooks (every member did). And I just stayed with the system. It doesn't hinder us much as be prefer a slow pace, driven by storytelling and dialogue. There have been nights when we didn't use the dice at all. And an evening without any fighting is not rare.

As for the games:
Currently I'm totally tied up by The Witcher 3. I love all the Witcher games, but this one really hits the spot. I also loved the TES games (with mods) or Fallout 3. SP shooters (Doom, Quake, FEAR), or Action/RPG/Adventure mixtures (Deus Ex, Bioshock, STALKER) are also a thing. Or 4X games like Master of Magic or Master of Orion 2. I used to love simulators like Total Air War or IL-2 Shturmovik, but I don't have the time or patience to learn the controls anymore.
We don't differ that much then. I enjoy FPS as well and Witcher 3 is easily my favourite Game of all time. Just that Open world and 4x stuff I can't stand. I play RPGs more to have a nice narrative rather than a nice world to be in. If I want an "open" world I play Tabletops as a Player or DM :D

Dude: How come you don't get downrepped when you say steam sucks, but I do? I can't figure out whether I've been targeted by script kiddies or people just hate me.

Me: Dude, if you can't possibly tell whether you're being downrepped every damn day, or just when you bash steam, I'd say this right here is a problem.
