It is just the currency of ours is keep weakening to US $. So it really give more blows to my wallet when I try to buy a game online. Hence, I could only wait good bundle or a big sale to buy games.

For Autumn sale of GOG, I thought it is around September. I just don't remember what month it was in the last year.
...
I sympathize with you. We are in a similar situation here in Brazil where the exchange rate is almost 4 to 1.
The worst thing is not even the huge difference. It's the fluctuation. It makes difficult to plan any kind of purchase and I think even with a possible sale in the near future I'll probably not make any purchase here for some time.
Gooood Wednesdayal Morningiums!

I see the sales have been mentioned!
It's worth waiting, especially if you want to buy several games... completely agree.
Last two years I've had low cash problems (partly because of strong drinking habit that's hopefully behind me now) - and Insomnia and other sales really were awesome in helping me buy good games.
I think the date might have something to do with releases... If there's a lot of releases coming on thursdays or fridays, that might push a big sale for later, I'd guess... Like if there's still more AD&D stuff coming, or other classics... But who knows... I'm hoping for a September Insomnia :P

Good evening. =)

Yes, they have, and yes, they certainly are. My stockpile was mostly built on waiting for those sales.

Would say that more D&D stuff is definitely in the works. GOG's trying to get Dragonlance right now, that's been confirmed.

As for Insomnia, certainly wouldn't mind it coming back around. Question for me is if anything on my list will even show up. The odds are against me at this point.

Every time I see your avatar, I wonder if they'll ever continue the New Vegas story and show Yes Man being a cheery genocidal robot overlord that you have to defeat.

Hi!
Dragonlance sounds good :)
Sounds like you have a huge backlog.
I am getting closer and closer to 200 unbundled games, but I justify more buying with the fact that at least I'm kicking another, more expensive habit.
And sales are nice in other ways too :)

Dragonlance gets GOG that much closer to having a chunk of gaming history that's remained recognizable and sought after for decades.

926 here and counting.

Games are cheaper than alcohol, not to mention being a whole lot healthier. Grabbing a fistful of them during a sale won't mess your liver up.

Can't complain here. Getting into the home stretch of Shadowrun Hong Kong, which is good.
Hopefully your day was pleasant, also.

Hmm. I thought economy of Brazil is relatively strong. Yeah. Fluctuation always make planning difficult. About currency, ours is stable... in going down to US $ :))

Well, our industries is taking a blow because of that. Especially factory or manufacture that depends on imported goods.

But, it is not really bad actually related to buying games. I still have a lot of games to play anyway. If I want, I could just buy games on Steam which have regional prices for my country. But... I prefer GOG or other service which provide DRM-Free installer. And for most of them, I must pay in US $.
Crow, you are quite right about alcohol vs. games; and you get Saturday and Sunday mornings.
I mean these were not before available to me :) for any other purpose than trying to survive a hangover.
Wow... that many games. Well you should be able to find something to play, whatever you desire at any given moment ;)
Well gotta do some work now...
Good night and mornings all!

He would let you defeat him, he was programmed NOT to refuse anything

Easiest boss fight ever

Easy way to set up a trap for the player triggered by his submission or death.

No need for hangover recovery time...massive benefit to sobriety right there.

-laughs- Yeah, there are plenty of games. It'll only take until 2025 to beat them all.

Have a good day, talk with you later. =)

Hello, good morning/evening/afternoon/day/night!

*Hugs and waves*

Slept terribly last night, so I'm fucking tired. Don't know what the problem was, just couldn't "shut down". Some process hanging just outside of consciousness...
