Yeah I've done a quick test drive once. I was unimpressed, sorry.
I used to play the first one quite a bit, that was awesome...
I don't know how to describe my lack of enthusiasm for the second one... Maybe you should see for yourself?

edit: oh, it's a gog release :) well... from the console version experience, I'm gonna stay away from it. Unless it gets really awesome reviews from pretty much everyone and this version is very different.

I'm sorry to hear you are going through a rough patch. I hope things settle down or get resolved or whatever needs to happen so you are less burdened. And you know you can always vent here, sometimes you need to release, otherwise you'll drive yourself nuts. I know this from experience... I tend to not what to burden people with my crap and then i start driving myself nutty.
