Crewdroog: a chance to own a one of a kind crow throw pillow with profanity lovingly stitched into it? hell yeah i'll wait!

everything. all of this. hahahaha omg i'm dying over here.
Okay. I'll be sure to remember. While I'm learning to sew, I'll try to come up with something better (and shorter) than "I spent two years waiting on some internet weirdo to make me stuff and all I got was this shitty pillow".

Just remember to breathe. Also, don't let the elephants steal things while you're busy laughing hysterically.

EndreWhiteMane: I applaud your reserve, I would have been rolling on the floor, clutching my stomach in laugh cramps, saying "You actually think I'd LIVE here?"
Well done. :-)
Well, I find it extremely hard to not be polite. I try to be diplomatic in every situation, even when I shouldn't be. :P So yeah, I was keeping a straight face, but I couldn't quite suppress the sarcastic commentary that was running inside my head the whole time. :P

ElTerprise: Glad to hear that - are you excited about it? :)

Hopefully - is it difficult is it to find an apartment currently?
On the one hand yes, on the other hand I kind of wish my holiday would last a bit longer ... :P But then I always think that and it's never that bad when you get back to it.

It's quite all right, although the quality you get really does depend on the amount you're willing to pay. If this apartment had turned out to be nice it would have been a great deal, which is why I was willing to take a chance on it. Still, i wasn't actively looking for apartments - I only went to this one because one of my friends told me about it. I do plan on moving to a bigger place but I'm quite good where I'm at currently, so there's no real hurry.
avatar
ElTerprise: And i hope it will. I really like the ideal of free and open software but having multi platform fcompatibility of software would be a first step i guess - but i assume time will tell....

Well all games from AC 1 to AC3 (including Brotherhood and Revelations) are part of the Desmond Saga, which means all of the protagonists are descendants of the protagonist of the present time story - afaik all the protagonists of the latter games ain't. But there is of course the whole Assassins vs. Templars plot which spans over all games....but imho Black Flag was really enjoyable even without the knowledge of some earlier games...
Given that description, I think at best I'll play Black Flag and forget everything else exists. ;)

That is a good plan. Black Flag is not really a difficult game but a fun game and it looks really great plus fighting ships and fortresses is really enjoyable :)

Totally understandable (thankfully my semester starts in about six weeks :P)
That sounds definitely better than here - i mean i'd love to move out but it's really expensive or you have to live in the middle of nowhere :P

Oh lucky you, you still have some time off then. ;)

The housing problems aren't that bad around here yet. Mostly because everyone thinks my city is way too distant from all the other big cities and it's in the middle of nowhere. Personally, I love it. You've got a pretty big city with the vibe of something smaller. It's big enough to be practical but not so big as to be impersonal. And the fact that we're isolated means that you can find whatever you're looking for right here in the city, because it's got everything.

EDIT: I think I'm going to try sleeping now, because my exhaustion is catching up with me. Have a good day/evening everyone, and catch you later.

My visit with relatives went nicely. Sure rained a lot outside, though.

Good evening

superstande: Good Evening everyone in and out of the thread! :)
After lots of Two Worlds 2 and some Pool of Radiance, getting quite tired.
Also had to fix the moped for my wife...
Going to sleep soon.

Enjoy the rest of the Weekend! :)

toxicTom: Guess you're already off... But if you read my answer: How do you like Pool of Radiance? And how do you handle the difference in appearance (TW2 looks rather neat IMO, while PoR kind of is... very old).
Hi!
A late reply: It took some reorienting :) but PoR doesn't bother me much graphics-wise, more because of the mechanics.
But there is, for me at least, a certain awe for the game... you need to read the manual quite a bit.
It's more of a reference material containing essential stuff unless you have memorized it.
It might be easier, like Crow pointed out, with EoB which is an awesome game too.
Good morning GOG...
**Tired hugs wth coffee**...
Here am I... back at work... ,o__o, *sigh*
How are you doing ?...
