We're doing... okay... although issues with the roommate have steadily gone downhill. We're waiting for news from our family that will allow us to move up near them later this year - hopefully sooner rather than later!

For now, I'm off to print out bits of the Pool of Radiance doc, since I'm using a laptop and flipping between game screen and PDFs is a little less than practical. Wish me luck - I've never played the SSI games, since they came out during the "AD&D is SATANIC!!" era when I was growing up and I couldn't convince anyone to get them. Hopefully the UI won't be too maddening. :)

AgentBirdnest: I was recently inspired by Lumino City to get out a stack of construction paper and a glue-stick and see what happens :-p ... Makes me feel like a kid or something, which is kinda cool.
That sounds amazing...i also really liked doing that as a kid. :D

Trust me, if the house belonged to the roommate and not a landlord that we actually like, I'd be tempted. As it is, we may be calling the police, due to the roommate. (But only once we aren't around to directly deal with her.)

Now... to figure out why Pool of Radiance starts up and then gets stuck on the "Now loading..." screen. O.o

Yeah, Lumino City is great. I haven't finished it yet, but I really dig it so far. Awesome "graphics", and really fun and logical puzzles. Overall charming and pleasant. I've heard it is pretty short though.

Yes. The graphics look really lovely. Well i have no problems with short games as long it is sold at a reasonable price. Wishlisted it :)

Well, it's not joyful. It's not really awful, so much as frustrating and infuriating. It's a very long story, but there's nothing going on that we can prove. I just suspect that involving the police would not end well for the roommate and at this point, I can't think of anyone more deserving of that.

*hugs back* With things going on around here and other stuff that's been happening, my interest in socializing has been minimal. When I was lucky enough yesterday to win a giveaway for the FR Collection 2, I realised I really needed to at least say "hi" to everyone, because I don't want to be "that person" who only stops by for giveaways. ;)

As it is, I'm currently trying to figure out why PoR is giving me problems, and catching up on the last few seasons of Doctor Who while I'm poking at it. I'm really not a fan of Matt Smith's Doctor, so I stopped halfway through series 6 a ways back and never got back into it, but I love Peter Capaldi, so.... motivation!

ElTerprise: Correct me if i'm wrong but shouldn't he have negative rep by now due to the downvoting which is necessary for reporting him as spam...
My observation is that if a post is deleted it is equal to never have existed at all, so that means the votes are also deleted and rep does not change.

It is short. And some later puzzles are not that logical. Beware when you reach the section with the ship captain, there can be a bug if you do not do the puzzles in the correct order which keeps you from continuing. You then need to repeat the section.
