NoNewTaleToTell: Good morning! Enjoy your waffles with chocolate syrup.
avatar
moonshineshadow: Oh that sounds awesome. Now I want to really have some :D
For bonus decent-ness, make two waffles and put chocolate syrup and whip cream between them (making a sandwich) and eat them, or stick them in the fridge and have a nice cool snack.

ElTerprise: Good morning everyone *big hugs and waves* :)

I doing pretty good all things considered. I might be heading to Las Vegas on Tuesday to toss somebody else's money in the one armed bandits, so that should be fun. How is your morning treating you?

It actually is really good, if I do say so myself. Not all of my culinary experiments work out though, don't ask me about peanut butter and pickle sandwiches...

Sorry to hear that....that sounds funny especially because it's someone else's money ;)
Same as usual for me which means i'm pretty good but tired - need more caffeine :)

I might try it out at some point then. Peanut butter and pickled cucumber? Yuck...
Awesome morninjanoons!
Trying to get myself to go out and get some breakfast... only some crackers and such at home...
found a nice morning tune to lure me up... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_s4c9MBeew

Blah, I can butcher a sentence when I'm tired and jugging things. I'm actually feeling pretty good haha.

If you don't like the peanut butter and pickles then you can always try my world famous mayo and black pepper sandwich, perfect meal for someone who only has bread, mayo and black pepper handy.

Can happen but good to hear that :).

Well i like both peanut butter and pickles but not combined. Mayo and black pepper doesn't sound too bad .

Well you can always try my greatest inventions, popcorn drowned in three different hot sauces, and hot sauce sandwiches (hot sauce on bread).

NoNewTaleToTell: Anybody have any experience hosting a Wordpress site? I'm having trouble making up my mind who I wanna go with, I'm leaning towards HostGator at the moment. I suppose the two big requirements are: Must be monthly/month to month and 2: Must be under $20 a month. I'm not setting up a store or anything like that so I don't need a SSL or anything that supports eCommerce.

Any ideas?
Can't really help you there, I only tried virtual servers (with plesk) and now a barebone server running freebsd, yet. With plesk it was all really easy and smooth sailing so I'd recommend that for starters (I was at strato, (for about $20) but I guess it's pretty much the same anywhere, just watch out that you get enough diskspace for what you wanna do and the traffic is unlimited (so there won't be any bad suprises)
As for SSL I do very much recommend you get a certificate (because you should encrypt any traffic always. As a habit)
And the best thing is there's about to be a free service launched soon letsencrypt.org. They'll start issuing certificates in october, and I'm so glad they do. Then this whole moneygrabbing on certs will stop. They are non-profit sponsored by mozilla, eff, cisco and the like and will finally solve this whole CA problem. I'm so looking forward to that ;D

I don't like Popcorn drowned that way and while i like mustard on bread i don't if i'd like just hot sauce on bread but i might try :)
There was a conversation about peanut butter, and nobody called me? Pfft :-p
Peanut butter makes everything¹ in the world better.

(¹Bananas are not of this world, and do not count.)
