Yep, it seems like a good opportunity, and it's not even that much more expensive than my current one-room-shared-bathroom deal. And I could get a cat! Luckily it's close to my old place so any potential moving should hopefully not be that terrible.

But there's always that risk I suppose. I got lucky with my current roommates, but for all I knew they might have been terrible. :P I suppose it's still too early for this anyway, first I have to see if I actually like the apartment, and then if I do like it, whether they'll pick me for it. :P

I really need to stop doing errands for people. What was supposed to be an hour of the usual shit ended up a 6 hour clusterfucked endurance contest wherein I moved heavy items while suppressing the urge to throw those objects at people's stupid godsdamned heads.
But on the bright side, I did get to contend with 100 degree weather while thinking, "I could be back at the house playing Shadowrun right now..." and not getting paid a single penny.

Right. Especially when you're the only one actually moving quickly. Not sure how braindead a person has to be to think chatting and standing around in the sun is a good idea, but I'm going to guess "somewhere between very and extremely".

Likewise. If I actually wanted to talk with someone, it wouldn't be in a goddamn parking lot or in the middle of a grocery store.
