Just a clarification for a probably already forgotten post: The remake of Downfall will probably NOT be free to preexisting owners, but Screen 7 (the publisher) will be offering a discount to those who already purchased it from them, and they're working with their distributors to do the same.

Before anybody starts a tirade (heh) on slight texture overhauls being touted as remakes, Downfall is actually being fully remade. The remake will use the same graphic style and side scrolling gameplay style as The Cat Lady, as opposed to the more "traditional point & click adventure" style of the original. It will also feature voice acting, which was not present in the original.

You can grab legally grab the original Downfall (which is bundled with its soundtrack) for free at its official website here http://www.quiethavenhotel.co.uk/

it worked when I re-installed GOG downloader :"| **feeling stupid hug**... of course, I hadn't it anymore on my computer... but I never tried direct download, how do you do that ?... any idea why it crashes when I use Galaxy ? I tried to "repair" it, using its options, but it still doesnt' work...

at least it works now, after I installed it manually on my computer (using GOG downloader)....

And, thanks for asking, my wife has passed her exam, and extremely well at that. :-)

The direct download links are the ones you see when you click on a game in your library here on the gog webpage. It just downloads the games then with your browser :-)

No idea about galaxy, I am not really enthusiastic about it and since it is still in beta I prefer not using it at all :D

Sorry to hear about your computer troubles, they can be annoyingly finicky sometimes.

I'm doing okay, waiting for a Steam Refund to come through (on the fourth day of the wait). Once the refund comes through I might pickup the Risen Franchise Pack there.

I've bought Downfall twice actually, once from Screen 7 sometime either late 2013 or very early 2014, and again here at GOG last year in May. With the remake it'll be three purchases.

I'm a big fan of Downfall and The Cat Lady and I'm pretty excited about Lorelai, which is to be the third game in the series.

Followed that link, somehow ended up clicking on a link comparing Kelly Brook's and Pamela Anderson's boobs.

Was reminded of that autobiography sample I downloaded from the B&N online shop, and reading how she attributed personalities to her tits.

I'm inclined to agree, and I think they're probably more developed than she is.

I don't know if this is only Terraria.... I only tried briefly and randomly a couple games (Colonization, FTL and Sokobond), and all work... I understand.... I wasn't very enthusiastic about Galaxy either...

Perhaps your problem is that the gog galaxy installation of Terraria is not complete. If you want to try again with Galaxy, install this:
