A funny thing happened to me yesterday.

So there I am, at mediamarkt shopping for a landline phone because of reasons (said reasons being, I refused to keep paying a single more dime for the "terminal rent" and despite being a dozen year old phone they still came to pick it up, but I digress). When I found myself face to face with one of my old coworkers at the extremely harshly failed publisher I once worked at. A guy who had been kind of an ass more than once.

He actually said so and apologized to me for it.

He'd also lost more than 70 kg, so I barely recognized him.

It is really annoying this exclusive DLCs for games. I mean I can understand if they want to give people something for pre-ordering. Like a discount or a DLC. But why the heck does it need to be exclusive. They could just sell the DLC to people after release.

Actually the DLC hours between 24:00 and 27:59 are pretty lame. No one is around, all shops are closed and Windows crashes all the time (maybe Linux could handle them better). Noch much to do but to maybe get some extra sleep. Not worth the money, IMO.

Absolutely. I can accept free DLC for pre-ordering which will can be bought later but having exclusive DLC - especially content DLC - is somethig I really detest. But i'm generally not a fan of exclusivity like platform exclusive games or platform exclusive content.

Agreed. What I wouldn't mind is some arbitrary stuff like costumes for a multiplayer game (so people can "show off" their support), as long as they don't have any significance for gameplay.
