j0ekerr: Been looking at some online reviews.

I am not amused by the fact that even though this is the third time they've tried to make a Fantastic Four movie, every new attempt seems to be getting worse.

Yes, I'm saying that the 1990's unreleased movie is the best of the lot.

Which reminds me that I need to get back to playing SR Returns and Dragonfall.

(Ok, yes Dragonforce is goddamn cheesy, but you shouldn't understimate the awesomeness of cheese)
You're not the first person I've seen make that statement. Fortunately I don't give much of a shit about Fantastic Four, so it's just a series of trainwrecks to laugh at. Just so long as they don't screw up Deadpool. I could go for a superhero-type movie with an R rating.

Clear Returns first. Pretty sure the last stage of Returns would be insufferable after playing Dragonfall at length. That's the one big sign that Harebrained Schemes didn't have a lot of game experience. They put in a mechanic that they thought would make things more dramatic, but just made it intensely obnoxious to play through.

CarrionCrow: It's been close to 15 years since a Mechwarrior game was put out. It's been over 14 since Mech Commander 2.
Given how long it's been, and how screwed up everything with the rights became, thinking it's not a stretch that a Kickstarted Battletech could do just as well as the best Shadowrun Kickstarter, if not better.
Figuring I'll back that one for 60 when I have the chance. It'll be better spent than buying overhyped "triple-A" garbage.
Yes hopefullly. The settings sounds pretty interesting but i haven't played any game in this universe so far. I'm not sure if i'll back it but i'll follow the development :).

AgentBirdnest: I'm sure you're right. My memory sucks (I had ECT :-p)
Doing good here too. Just sitting here watching Dark Angel and randomly surfing the web :-)
Alright ;)
Glad to hear that. I heard about Dark Angel but i've never seen it :).

ne_zavarj: Am i the only one who thinks Hollywood stinks lately ? I mean remakes , sequels and movies that based on comics .

By the way : good night everyone .
Well although i like some of those movies based on comics i agree. It's very uncreative nowadays but i don't watch that many Hollywood movies anyway.
I wish you a good night :).

Oh yeah, wasn't there some sort of IP copyright fight that spiralled down into a dick measuring contests and which ended in a total SNAFU?

ElTerprise: I'd actually like to see that one at some point. The other two were okayish imho. But from what i've read about the new one - i've no intention to watch it....
Try searching the darker parts of the intertubes for it, it's not safe though, so take this.

I'm still offended that they went the ultimate-verse route and made Galactus into a goddamned cloud!

Well they seem to have learned, and fast too, from past mistakes.

Let's hope they don't make new ones.

If it follows the board game, it'll be good. Battletech is turn-based, lots of designs, lots of customization, and it has an RPG system in place as well.
Curious to see how ambitious they'll get with the first game, if it'll be like Shadowrun Returns where they lay down the framework and expand on it as the series progresses with different titles.

Sounds good.
Honestly i think it might be the best to go do it similar to the Shadowrun games. First develop a functioning framework and expand on it later. :)

Stilton: Hey, this place looks familiar... I seem to remember being here some while back. Must be one of those freak amnoosia attacks. How is everyone?
Stillton !!!!! :D
How are you ?? (2 hours late)

toxicTom: I'm calling it a day. If my wife really want to get up at 5 AM to work on her exam preparations, she'll need my help preparing breakfast and so on.

*Good night hugs and waves*
Good night, and good luck for tomorrow Toxic Tom !!! :)) **big hugs**

Stilton: And I'm away again. Hopefully surface again soon. Take care all ;-)

Once more into the shit...

CarrionCrow: Good afternoon. =)

I missed them too. Was playing Dust, switched over and they'd already come and went. Regardless, it's good to know they're still alive and kicking, despite life being a pain in the ass by the sound of it.
*tips helmet*

Yeah, it's always nice of them to drop in, even if just for a minute.

Don't tell Owl that I'm watching it. Jessica Alba makes her *pouarkh* ;-p

Don't tell her about it. Because she'll make fun of me :-p
It's about a genetically enhanced 19 year old girl who is still on the run after escaping from a government lab 10 years earlier. It takes place in 2019, in post-apocalyptic Seattle, after an electromagnetic pulse bomb has destroyed all technology and turned the US into a third world country.
It's always been a favourite of mine :-)

Don't worry i won't :)
Sounds quite interesting - maybe i'll take a look at it :)
I think i'll go to sleep now. Good Night everyone :)

Night ELT, sleep well.
Have I mentioned lately that housework sucks? If not, I should have.
You know what sucks? Playing a game for 30 minutes to an hour, then being so tired you can't play any more. -.-

Yes, that definitely does suck, all right. Just remember to save before you shut it off. Seems obvious, but I'm pretty sure people do that sometimes.
