LaPtiteBete: I love this idea... I know someone who "translates" every sound in music... They say he has an "absolutely pitch" (?)
But I already heard about this "colour" kind of synesthesia (the most crurent fotm)... Duke Ellington, Thomas Yorke (Radiohead) and Lady Gaga :D have it for example... I'd love to be able to feel that. Music and colour, all together...
We usually call it "perfect pitch", but I just Oogled it, and "absolute pitch" is actually the proper name for it :-o Didn't know that... But I already heard about this "colour" kind of synesthesia (the most crurent fotm)... Duke Ellington, Thomas Yorke (Radiohead) and Lady Gaga :D have it for example... Hm... You should try Klonopin :-p Back when I first started taking it, I could close my eyes when listening to music and actually "see" the music as colours and shapes. Only the first few times though.
(Disclaimer : Don't try Klonopin please.)

moonshineshadow: No wonder it took you 6h to do it. I remember I spent a Saturday to put everything in a spreadsheet (I also included genre, platform, status etc).
CarrionCrow: 22 months of catch-up made for a lot of typing to do. You went more in-depth than I did, I have a general idea of all the perimeters you mentioned in my head so I didn't go to the trouble of writing it all down. *list crazy person*

LaPtiteBete: Hello :D
We, French, do it all the time ; words have gendres. Une chaise (chair ; feminine) ; un lit (bed ; masculine). So it's normal to me :) ... you must have been French in a previous life.

ddickinson: I think if I did not have my backlog I would be more inclined to try new games, but at the moment I only put games I kind of want (as there are none left that are must haves for me). I do keep looking through the catalogue of games to add to my wishlist, but everytime I add more I talk myself out of them again. Even the ones I have on now I am tempted to just delete.
That's the sensible approach in action. The nonsensical approach would be to hit every sale as hard as possible, regardless of any accumulated backlog.l0rdtr3k

I do hit the sales hard, just not for myself. :-) Out of curiosity, and only if you know of course, but what percent of your GOG games have you played?
Edit: I think mine is just under 10%.
Have you had a nice day at work?

How are you lovely Owl? Are you enjoying your vacation, or are you at the point where you are getting homesick?

Thinking I'm around 15 percent roughly. I've been getting into games that take dozens of hours to clear, it's slowing me down a fair bit. Going to try to avoid that for a while so I can actually play more of what I have.

I do that too, looking at new games to see which I'd like to add to my wishlist! And I analyze every sale, see if I want the game, see if that's the lowest price it's been, etc. I have a huge 200+ backlog, but then I have plenty of choice when I'm in the mood for a game to play. ;)moonshineshadow

I recently played some games from that list to decrease my backlog :D

Both... I'm happy to be in holidays, but I'll be happy to see my home again... plus, our neighbor just told us that he had 1,20 meter of water in his basement, so I'm a bit worried. (Floods).
How are you doing ??
