Anno 1503 was awful. The new money aquisition system was really annoying and took out all of the fun of the game. At least in my opinion. Never played the 1701 one since I was not confident that they had gone back to the good formula of the first one and I did not want to play another bad one.

Good information to have. Still going to buy 1503, but at least I know it might be total crap.

Also, it comes to mind that GOG's cut a larger deal with Ubisoft, and Ubisoft is the one with control of SSI properties like the Gold Box series.
But, getting my hopes up about anything is stupid, so I'll just wait and see on that one.

Afternoon folks.

During lunch there was a gossip programme being shown on TV, I just kept on eating and ignored it as much as I could.

I changed channels when I realized that I was wholeheartedly and unironically wishing for the people in it, to die horrible deaths.

The moral of the story: Gossip shows make me a worse person. Though not by much.
