NoNewTaleToTell: Hello everybody, hope the time of day is treating you well, or well enough that you can lie and say it's treating you well!

The best part of doing any creative art work is the back and forth dueling thoughts of "This is turning out great!" and "Wow this really sucks!". Totally worth it in the end, especially if your project actually doesn't suck.

I've decided to take a chance on CDF Ghostship after seeing a few videos, I'll let you folks know whether or not it's absolute trash or actually good.

She Who Fights Monsters is a neat little donationware/pay what you want game that I finished a few months ago. It's fairly short, maybe an hour or two in length but well worth a playthrough. http://gamingpixie.itch.io/she-who-fights-monsters
Good evening. =)

Hopefully your evening is pleasant enough as well.

Watching Jackie Brown at the moment. It's funny how tastes change over time. Watched From Dusk Til Dawn yesterday, and it struck me that without George Clooney, that movie would've sucked. Didn't think it was borderline bad when I first saw it, but I do now. First watched Jackie Brown years ago, didn't like it, but it's much better to me now.

It's not a bad movie. As for Kill Bill 2, that one might actually mess with your enjoyment of the first a bit since it's very different in large part. Not nearly as many action scenes, that's for sure.
It's also pretty much impossible to get through the second one without screaming for David Carradine to shut the fuck up at some point. Not his fault, though, Tarantino needed editing desperately as the movie went on but no one was able or willing to do it.

Should be interesting to see how his huge Western goes.

Have a good night, sleep well when you get there. =)

For clarity's sake, I didn't make it, it's just a game I found and played a few months ago. I definitely recommend it though, cool little game!

-laughs- Read it wrong. Going to chalk that up to being tired. (It's the most convenient excuse I can think of right now.)

It looks like it. Always in the market for something different.
For anybody who uses Skype, have you noticed the Home page (inside the client) being stuck loading during the past two days or so? Besides that it works fine, I think this just popped up after the last update (which was a few days ago).
Well...CDF Ghostship was a bust. Not because the gameplay is bad, but because the framerate is unplayable when enemies are onscreen, so I went ahead and requested a refund.

What little gameplay I experienced wasn't bad, heck it seemed pretty interesting and competent enough, though it was obviously put together by a solo dev if you know what I mean. I may pick it up again when I get around to building my gaming/recording PC but for the immediate future that $15 could be thrown towards something that runs at a playable framerate.

uhh good morning!

sorry to hear. Hm... Do you mean your pc isn't able to run it or the game is designed so badly that it can't run at all properly...
Perhaps it's designed badly so it's really consuming a computer like cat drinks milk?

Alright I'm just up and still drunk... I'll get me coat

At least you gave it a shot, and you get your coin back. (Sorta.) Maybe when the next rental sale hits, some high priority item will drop in your lap.
Well. I slept poorly, 3 hours at the most, still tired from my yesterday road trip... we left at 5:40 am and drove 25 minutes, then something broke in the engine. We've been stuck for 2 hours at my in-laws. The owlet's are tired as f*ck and grumpy too. I struggle not to yell at or punch anyone in the face....... =__= **deep breath**

Mm... broken engine? That sounds tough.
Reminds me of a time in Laos when I was heading to leave the country by some car and the bridge across was broken. Ended up overstaying my visa and paying for it and got the border people a bit upset... It was like, "It's not my fault," but nobody wanted to hear it...
Hope you get your troops sorted and get at least a nap. Naps are sometimes worth their weight in gold :)
