Look at Football, rather than you use another name you just stole one from a well established sport and tried to remake the old one soccer. I am surprised you did not try to force India to chance it's name so you could still use the term Indians for Native Americans. :-)

I am not surprised they don't mind, most people don't mean anything offensive by the term, it's like people who call people black or white, while it can be used in a racist tone, most mean nothing by it other than a way to identify people. Political correctness is going too far, and it's not even equal, it's often very one sided in favour of the minorities, whether that be gender, race, colour, sexuality, or religion. People these days just seem to enjoy all the drama. Not that things should not be defended or changed, but much of it is pointless and petty. So you Americans want your name in Star Wars as well? I think the black thing was all fake, you just wanted an excuse to have an (African-)American Jedi. Everyone knows Obi-Wan was the best Jedi, and Alec Guinness was English. :-p
Well, I'm only American one day a week, the rest I'm either French or traveling through time ;-p I only say "soccer" to my American friends to avoid confusion. Otherwise, I prefer to call it football, and I pretend that "American football" doesn't exist :-)
You know... "Mormon" is not even the proper name for us. We only got that nickname because of "The Book of Mormon" that we read. Officially, we are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but that is a bit of a mouthful, so we mostly just stick to our nickname :-) ... (not that it matters for me, I'm only officially a member. I don't really care about... well... anything.)
Anyway... all good points, though I must admit that I was a pretty big big fan of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan :-) Just about the only thing I could stand about the prequels was that lovely guy :-p

Agreed. Especially because it was believable that he was a younger version of the older Obi-Wan :).

I wouldn't worry about it, rep isn't very important, it's just a number below your username. I think GOG should have used a post count instead, like other forums do. (perhaps still have a rating system, but make it more like what Reddit has?)
