I have played Diablo 2 and StarCraft 1 (one of my favourite games), but I will never play that mess that is called StarCraft 2 (the plot was horrible, and what they did to the characters was just rubbish), and as I am not really a multiplayer player, WoW is out for me as well.

We are doing very well, thank you. My partner is more of a console gamer, and has never played any of the Blizzard games. She likes a lot of DS games and things on the Wii, usually the more active games.

I will take my good night's sleep badge, please (I got almost 4 hours, which is about right for me most nights). :-)

How are you today? Did you manage to get some sleep in this heat?

Doing ok here, it is still awefully warm, but at least I start to see the end of all the extra work :D
And no, I did not get much sleep, it was just too hot. I refused to give up and in the end I got like 3h sleep :P

Yeah, cool drinks are the only way. Therefore every break is used to get a new cool drink :D
And as long as you sent the food I don't actually need the cook (besides if he cooked here, it would get even warmer from the heat of the cooker :P

The best in my opinion is the WoW soundtrack as strange as it sounds. It's mostly ambient and doesn't take away from your concentration and sometimes there's a piece of epic boss fight music after 1 hour and you can just lean back and enjoy it for 5 minutes before going back to working.

Key is that the music shouldn't be dominant.
Other good examples are Spellforce, Advent Rising, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy ones and Sacred.

It is getting warm again here as well. I was hoping for that cold wind to stay for a while. Let's hope that your extra work will indeed be over soon, and that your professor doesn't turn up with even more extra work.

Will you need to do any work over the weekend? And do you have anything nice planned for the weekend?

Doing okay. Slept decently. Not great, but decently, which is an improvement for me :-)
Weekend celebrations? õ__ô What the pluck are you talki... Oh, right, that thing. I completely forgot (which probably tells you how excited I am about it :-p) Unless I can find a way to travel 354km tomorrow, I don't have much to look forward to. My friends always throw a nice party and firework show, but we don't live near each other anymore. So, I'll probably sit at home and stare at a fireworks screensaver instead ;-)
