Is Hearthstone the Blizzard card game? I have heard people talk about it, but never played it. It's not really my kind of game.

Yep and people say it's P2W because of booster packs.
But that's a staple of all card games, pay and pray that you get a legendary.I got some neat cards and I haven't spent a dime on it and played +20 matches.

Can you get good cards if you do not pay for booster packs? If not, then it could be seen as pay-to-win. I know regular real world card games are like this, but Hearthstone is a digital game, not a physical product, and some people don't like that.

Do you play against the computer, or other players usually?

Yes,if you complete daily quests you get gold and you can buy boosters packs with it.
ANd I prefer to play with other players.
I had better get some sleep. I hope you all have a lovely day, and a good nights sleep when you go to bed!

*goodnight hugs and silly waves*

That is good, but some people are just not keen on such practices in games, and they could still see it as pay-to-win. But as long as you can still have a good game without needing to buy extra packs with real money then I am sure it's fine and that lots of people will be enjoying the game.
hello all, back from a nap. x)
Okay, finally back. I seriously wonder about those who view this season as a good time to go outside.
All I want to do is get away from it. Sunburn and heat stroke don't sound like fun to me.

I don't get sunburns but heat stroke would suck. :P
Damn it, Bundle of Holding. You have joined the other vendors in a conspiracy to keep me penniless!

Would be alright if it had some old school D&D stuff.

Figuring the odds of that are lower than average.
It seems like Bundle of Holding is frequently for smaller companies and older, lesser known products to get additional exposure.

Yeah, still wouldn't mind seeing some of the older D&D systems in bundles (AD&D 1E, classic, etc)

So long as Wizards of the Coast can get higher prices for .pdf rereleases of old titles, they won't be part of a bundle.
A quick glance at DriveThruRPG shows that they're charging 10 dollars apiece for sourcebooks from 1st edition.

Not too bad considering what 1E stuff can go for on amazon really.
