It's quite funny actually. I recently reread all the Hitchhiker books (in german but the translation is really good). I even read the sixth one bei Eoin Colfer which is still quite enjoyable but nowhere near the originals. Too bad that Adams wasn't able to write the sixth himself because the ending of the fifth is not that good imho and from what i know Adams planned to write another one.

Never played that game. Wasn't there also a Monty Python member involved? Terry Jones maybe?

Yes, I think it was Terry Jones. There is a book of the same name also. I don't know much about the game, but would guess it to be very funny :) I actually read the book, back in the day, and all I remember is it was funny...
There was also John Cleese along with Terry Jones doing some voice-acting.
