ddickinson: Sorry to hear you had a bit of a rough night, but I am glad to hear that the pain is almost gone. I hope that your back will be better in no time. I think you still deserve a sticker. :-)

I slept great. I got a phone call this morning from my farther to tell me I could have a few days off, that he thought I could use the time to just relax and recuperate after all that has been going on lately (and also because of the 9 year old little girl who died at the hospice on Sunday while I was sat with her, which hit me quite hard). My brothers and one of my sister-in-laws has offered to cover some of my work, which is so very sweet of them. So I just went back to bed and enjoyed the rare occasion during the week when I can be there when my partner wakes up. I then made her some lovely breakfast in bed and saw her off to work. Now I am just sat at home being lazy for the day (and it feels great!). :-)

So get the rest of the week to myself. But sadly my partner still has to work :-(. But that's okay, at least I won't be so tired on the evening and we can have lots of fun then, and it means I get a whole weekend to enjoy!

I have some house work planned, but other than that my first day off will just be spent being lazy. I know I can't do that all week, as it would drive me nuts, but I can manage a lazy day now and then. :-)

moonshineshadow: I definitely prefer the 20-25°C :D I am not that much a fan of the cold ;-)
And I also don't mind it being a bit warmer. 25-30°C is also quite nice as long as there is a little bit of wind.

ddickinson: I am sure there will be lots to do when I get back, but it will be worth it for a few days off. It's partly due to me covering for them over the last few months so they can have time with their family, so they decided to try to give me a little time off. I think they asked my sister-in-law to help due to the animals, as they react better to women than they men. Not sure why, maybe the softer voice or the body language.

I think I will spend the time getting some things around the house sorted, and also some reading and who knows, I might be really adventurous and play some games for once. :-)

ddickinson: I know, who knew you could actually play the things. At first I thought they were just boxes to put on my shelf, but now that we don't have the shelf I was curious what they were. And it turns out they are actually video games, not just pictures we are buying. :-)
