I can't take any credit regarding its origin. -laughs-
BTW: I really appreciate that the developers of Starpoint Gemini 2 implemented the campaign of the predecessor (what a difficult word :P) in it. But i assume that also means that the original won't be released here...

"Roll out the barrels, and we'll have a barrel of fun!"
Ah yes, the Polka, literal translation 'Polish Lady'.
The town I grew up in had a very large Polish population, we even had a weekly TV show called "Polka Varieties'.
Often described as a dance party with drinking, more accurately a drinking party with dance. :-)
This being one of the most famous ones, and the one the above quote is from.
The Bohemian equivalent of 'Line Dancing'. :-)
Edit: Or perhaps Square Dancing. ;)

Thanks for the information. It's funny that a czech/bohemian dance is named 'polish lady' ;)
And that means that Crow was correct with his description of dancing and drinking :).

They were a nice lot of people and knew how to have fun.
Had a lot of Polish friends growing up, great people.

Goooood evening, everyone!
How are you all doing tonight?
I am feeling so much better, and a little tipsy for a few too many drinks (but that's not why I am feeling better). :-)
*big hugs and some silly waves*

It honestly is nothing to do with the drink, I did not drink too much. Drunk was perhaps a little strong, maybe just a little tipsy. I had a lovely (although short) evening with my partner and some friends to try to take my mind of things. We had some nice food, a few drinks and some dancing.
