Vnlr: Good Midday everyone!

Sorry for being on and off so sporadicly, but there is a lot going on here ;)

How are you all doing? (and best wishes and hugs if you're stuck in a pickle)

ElTerprise: Moin.
Doing good here
What abou you?
I'm doing fine, thank you. I kicked windows of my pc and set KUbuntu on the throne, which I haven't regretted so far ;)
And I'm having a pleasant time. I hope it lasts when the results of the exams are in ...

ddickinson: At least we have more new releases to look forward to. Hopefully not just more "retro" style indie games. Some are nice, but more and more now it just seems like lazy developers, rather than a good art style.

So, what can I do to help cheer you up? Anything at all (except kicks in the nuts). :-)
Indeed. I can go back to getting excited and hoping for No One Lives Forever every Tuesday and Thursday :-)
Ugh... "Retro"... enough of this already. I agree, it seems like laziness more than anything... they could at least have the decency to make these games actually playable on a system older than 2011 :-| Many of them look like they could work on a calculator.

Hm... Nothing comes to mind. I'll let you know. In the meantime, just sit there and don't cut my limbs off ;-)
this nearly brings a tear to my eye everytime I listen to it ;) (totaly random, for music's sake)

does anyone else here enjoy simply listening to music? Doing nothing but sitting and listening I mean?
Hello everyone, good morming how are you? :)

Glad to hear that. Well that reminds to resume my training concerning Linux. Kubuntu sounds interesting but the currently i really enjoy the slick xfce rather than the KDE. Although i must admit that KDE has loads of programs like the office suite and Amarok etc...

I know what you mean. It's bad when a game comes out looking like an early 90s console game, yet requires a high spec system and more resources than the Witcher 2. I guess it's lazy optimisation, as well as lazy gameplay and graphics. Some look lovely, but most now just seem so bare, basic, and often very overpriced.

Okay, but if you think of something be sure to let us know. And don't worry, I only cut limbs of heretics and naughty people. :-)

I enjoy some relaxing time just listening to some music. I do it often on a night when I can't sleep. I just sit in the conservatory and enjoy the night air and sky and just listen to some relaxing music.

I rather like it myself (only creating desktop shortcuts is a bit of a riddle to me), but I was in doubt between going for Debian or Ubuntu. Since we had some documentation on the KDE desktop I went with Kubuntu. Unfortunatly said documentation dates from 1998 ;)

Well that's some time. I think worked with KDE in school but i went with xfce because it also is less resource hungry but i might swtch to kde when i'm bit more experienced with Linux
