I agree about the codes. It's a pity that GOG gave them out without including them in our lists of possible gifts, so you can't tell who redeemed them. People are strange, and greedy - a simple 'thanks' would have done the trick.

There is a way to see who redeemed the codes. Under the section of orders and settings on the account tab, there's a full listing of every purchase and every gift, whether redeemed by you or redeemed by someone else.

Apparently those giveaway codes don't - or didn't - show up in the orders / gifts section, possibly because GOG sent them out via emails. People were complaining that they couldn't see who had redeemed them, which made it easy for the scammers and grabbers. Perhaps GOG fixed that..

I don't worry about rep. Under the current setup, it's just a number that can be decreased by anyone with an impulse and time on their hands to do it. Figuring it's just a matter of time until GOG finally dispenses with it altogether.

You're absolutely right, my apologies. In the midst of everything else, I'd thought they were present on the list but they aren't.

I'll do that. I don't promise you'll get them today, since I have to go and see my sister at hospital with the kids (she just gave birth to her second son ! I'm a proud auntie for the second time \o/...), and since I'll be alone to take care of the owlets, I might be tired when I'm finally home with the kids in bed, but... I love the idea.

And i don't use the 'hanseatic' in its original meaning - as i'm not part of these class - but i use it as a description for the people of the hanseatic cities. Ch'ti huh....i think i saw the movie (but in german) :)

Hmm... maybe we could have some normal badge/sticker and a special one if someone manages to sleep well for a longer time or something like this. As for what to be on them.. good question. I am not very creative, but I'll think about it :D
