CarrionCrow: You would have more fun eating the furniture.

Penumbren has said that Hatoful kinda redeems itself by the time everything's done by way of sheer insane plot, but I've played Fahrenheit.
It is bad. Intensely, painfully, insultingly, terribly bad.
Pudding will destroy the world!

pimpmonkey2382.313: Then I'll retort, that you're still just drinking pepsi. :P

EndreWhiteMane: No choice in the matter for me but that's OK because I'm definitely weird enough without 'additives'. :-)
And you can drive me or us home. :p

CarrionCrow: Holy frigging crap, I'm almost done. Less than a gig and a half to go.
Yay! I've been downloading everything right away so I never have to go through that again. :-)
I'm looking for people who own Shadowrun Dragonfall (and got the free gift code to upgrade to the Director's Cut) and/or Wasteland 2 (with the bonus gifts). If you got these in September 2014 or generally before the website and account changes AND also used the codes please check the gift codes again. Yesterday I looked at mine and they were working again. I'd like to know if this also happened to others.

Stilton: I'm actually pleased its over.

The initial cycle of games was upbeat with plenty of forum fun, but after the first few days the rot set in and dragged lower and lower, sadly. Thank you to the gifters and those who kept my progressively waning enthusiasm alive. And thank you GOG for making so many sale games available, even if we did have to see them over and over again. They're clearly still searching for that magic sale formula. And PLEASE sort the site's bugs out - they made things much more awkward than they should have been.

Hope everyone got a lot of what they wanted ;-)
This just proves my theory that while they have a Tzeentchian designer, the maintenance is done by Nurgle acolytes.

EndreWhiteMane: I've just got done playing electrician and I'm ready too.
Can one get hammered on Diet Pepsi? :-)

adaliabooks: Only if topped up with large quantities of rum or vodka (or any other spirit really, but those are the preferred ones as far as I'm concerned).

I'm currently consuming a large glass of Pimms. It's got fruit and vegetables in it, therefore it's good for me.

Hey everyone :)
Hey Adalia, long time no see.
I used to drink Screwdrivers because the Orange juice was good for me. Right up to the point I fell down. :-)
Another small downside to Dead Effect, the music is WAY too loud. It's actually loud enough to easily drown everything else out and seems to actually get distorted (like you're overloading a pair of cheap earbuds) on the upper end of the audio spectrum. I'm not sure if it's mixed/mastered that way or if it'll be corrected if I turn it down, but I'll know soon enough.

Gameplay is still fun though (if a bit too easy so far), just finished level 2 a few minutes ago.

You should set some conditions to that. Like "no puking in the car" ;-)

Stilton: Paradox, indeed - I got the grand strategy bundle as a Father's Day gift about an hour before things folded ;-)
Those are awesome children. Gifting actually good presents instead of some tacky tie.

NoNewTaleToTell: Bit the bullet and spent my Trading Card money on Dead Effect. Aye it's a mobile port with zombies but it looks like an decent B level FPS and $1.49 of what amounts to funny money isn't a huge loss if I end up not liking it. It can't be worse than Dementium II HD, that's for sure. What a waste of 49 cents that was.
Day of Defeat Source is 25 cents more.

I think it's worth that much at least.

I don't puke, but passing out, and/or not being able to walk...that's a different story. lol
avatar
CarrionCrow: I saw the Supergreatfriend Let's Plays of both Dementium for the DS and the PC port, and wasn't impressed with either one.

Sounds like you got a decent budget game, rather than a steaming pile that they could only charge less than a dollar for.
Speaking of budget games. I feel obligated to mention , as well [url=http://store.steampowered.com/search/?publisher=Two%2520Tribes]as this, and this one and this one too.

Good thing. That is as least stuff that can be handled (by just letting you sleep in front of your door) :P
