ddickinson: Has the site always used HTTPS on all page? Mine seems to be now that you mention it. Maybe GOG is doing an overall of site security, maybe with all the hacking they are taking more precautions?
I have the HTTPS Everywhere addon running in Firefox but i usually only had HTTP when using GOG. But i didn't really paid attention to this.

moonshineshadow: At the moment my spreadsheet contains the names, where I own the game (mostly gog and boxed versions) :D, as well as status. And now I am adding the genre. Good idea with the gift. Perhaps I should add that as well :D
avatar
ddickinson: I only keep a list of my digital (GOG) games on the spreadsheet. I own quite a few boxed games, but I never considered listing them as well, maybe I could do that one day. The new order history is nice for finding out who gifted you what. I also keep a list on my spreadsheet of the order numbers and gift codes (if applicable), just in case I should ever need them.

*big random hug*
At first I also only had the digital ones. But when I started to do this cool colour marking for completed / playing / abandoned / needs patch etc, I decided to add the boxed games :D

I colour code mine as well, but just ones I have finished. It also has some formats in there to count all the games I own (before and after unbundling), as well as games played and how many left to play (and my played to not-played ration is terrible). :-)
Well that would explain the issues i guess. The haven't enabled it globally yet or messed up the implementation.

Edit: The linking only works when enabling https on the link ;)

It seems that GOG has indeed started using HTTPS, as mentioned by the link Moon posted above. I guess they are taking security more seriously now, which is good to know.

I first also only had a colour for finished. But then I got a game which was so not my thing, so I did never finish it. So I decided on a second colour for abandoned :D
And then there was a game, that was totally broken, so waiting for a patch was needed - another colour.
And finally one colour for gog games that are missing the German language pack.

And this sale definitely made my ratio worse. Before it was like 35% of the games finished ;-)

Yes. Finally i'd say. Which means that the issues were currently experiencing are due to this implementation (hopefully).

Huh? It works fine for me.

Odd. But the link you posted is only HTTP after all.

That sounds like a good idea. I might try doing some more colours like that. I have not really played any GOG games I did not want to continue, but I am bound to eventually.

I don't even think I am at 10% of games completed. I have played and started more than 10%, but I have only gotten around to finishing less than 10% so far. And I don't even own a third of the catalogue, I would hate to think what my percentage would be if I owned as many games as Crow. :-)

Good evening :)
Doing good here.
Also having issued with the site?

Lets hope so. And lets hope that GOG was being truthful about not having a data breach.

I calculated that I'll need ten to twenty years to finish all my games, if I stopped buying new ones now :D

But it has gotten really late, I need to get some sleep *good night hugs and waves*
*and promising to try to sleep well hug for dd*

Its been a bit buggy the last day or two. My main problems are with how it makes simple tasks difficult when it 'is' working...
