FearfulSymmetry: Ha! I really hate the Honours College. We had to send in a plan for our final activity, and I'm usually the active person in our project group making sure all of that stuff happens. However, we only got the message about it very late while I was abroad, so the other members in my group were responsible for handing in the plan ... Which didn't exactly go smoothly. But rather than asking for clarification or replying to an email I sent, the Honours College instead settled on a 'hilarious' solution. So, while all the other groups have a nice spot in the main Academy Building, our presentation has been labelled "What are you talking about?!" on all the flyers and we've been banished to a side alley no one ever visits. So now we'll be forced to hold presentations there for several hours although likely no one will show up. Very funny. Really reminds me why I love this program so much. >.>

Want a funny story about my last group project? 4 people have to create a Web Application. 2 People actually do the work (Me and another guy). The professor picks precisely the one guy who didn't code at all, during the presentation and forces him to change some code. He breaks into tears, because he has no idea what to do. 9th semester of university yay. Quality entertainment.

uuh... sounds... emotionally challenging... well take it as a challenge to your patience, if you will... a way to develop a higher-state-of patience, a level-up! (yeah easy for me to say...)

Yeah, it doesn't exactly make me happy. Some of my family was coming to watch but I think I'll tell them not to. My grandmother, for instance, has a lot of trouble with walking and she'll never be able to reach this building.

Actually I got a better grade than the rest of the team. There are many cases of people just being dragged along and professors tend to notice that by now.

What is your presentation about? Sorry if you already said it, but it seems I missed it.

That's only happened to me once in high school. Most of the professors just don't care about it, and it's even happened that I got a lower grade than some of my groupmates who did absolutely no work.

It's about a project we did about deliberation, we were trying to get high school students to become more involved in debating.

Really understandable. Well it reminds me of my last presentation i was working on with a fellow student. He got ill the we had to present it so had to do it alone - how convenient i think....
