tinyE: BTW, OT, I noticed your eyes are always bloodshot. You seriously need to cut back on the all night partying.
I would guess it is more because of all the coffee so that he can't sleep at all :P And even trying to count his games does not help ;-)

tinyE: you know who

toxicTom: Voldemort??
SSSHHHH!!! Are you crazy!? Don't mention his name!
avatar
tinyE: Yeah but by retaliating it's only encouraging him.

I understand the dilemma, it's just puzzling to me that people would decide to stop being your friend because of it.

Seems that's their natural color. Sure as hell haven't had a sale-related reason to stay up for days, so sleep's been relatively plentiful.

Gabe Newell ;)

GreenDamsel: Now I'm curious. Please. Do elaborate.

tinyE: Shouldn't you be out watching Men of Respect? :P
Okay it's shit, but the use of MacBeth is so cool, especially when Peter Boyle explains why he isn't 'of woman born'.
Don't change topics. I'm working and can't watch anything.
What did get you so riled up?

Ixamyakxim: I LOVE As You Like It! That's the one where they go into the forest right? Melancholy Jacques is one of my favorite characters. I also pepper "How Now Fool, Whither Wander You?" into conversation whenever possible ;) I DO have the right play yes? I always confuse the titles of the one I'm thinking of, and the one where the two sets of twins share names.

My favorite is probably I Henry IV. I also really like Macbeth and King John. I've a fan of the histories.
Yes, that's it exactly! I saw it in the Globe a few weeks ago and it was really great. I also saw a Dutch modern adaptation a few months ago that had me rolling on the floor as well. :P

I've mostly done tragedies, so I really need to do some more reading. My favourite right now is probably Macbeth but keep in mind that I still need to read a lot. :P
- Tell it to the cleaning lady on Monday.
- What?
- Because you'll be dust by Monday... because you'll be pulverized in two seconds. The cleaning lady? She cleans up... dust. She dusts.
- So, what's on Monday?
- 'Cause... it's Friday now, she's the weekends off, so... Monday, right?"

GreenDamsel: MacBeth is, imho, still the best play written by Shakespeare.
I find the rest to be too... sweet and fluffy?

Edit: I have not seen or read King Lear, yet.

tinyE: You need to check out Men of Respect.
I prefer vaudeville.

FearfulSymmetry: Yes, that's it exactly! I saw it in the Globe a few weeks ago and it was really great.
Lucky lucky! How great is that!

Macbeth is fantastic. It always stays near the top of my list. I haven't seen many performed but I do like reading them!

You once were a ve-gone, but now you will be gone!

Voldemort is a wuss, I'd call him a pussy, but only a very deluded individual would think pussies (specially in mating season) are harmless.

There are many things far more scary than a no-nose Sauron wannabe. Vogon poetry for instance.

PalioDeMonte: Gabe Newell ;)
DON'T MENTION THAT NAME!

What movie is this? I can "hear it" but for the life of me can't place the film and it's driving me nuts LOL!

Yes, it was a pretty awesome experience, though the standing for three hours thing got a bit difficult near the end. :P

I think I've only seen one movie of it and that's it, but I love reading it.

Soccorro: Hello everyone!

I hope you're all having a great day so far!

Mine is great, GREAT I SAY! :D
avatar
GreenDamsel: It's Tuesday. How great can a Tuesday be?
Maybe it is pills Tuesday?
avatar
PalioDeMonte: Anybody else still waiting for his 'torrent of surprises'...?
Tomorrow is repeat day and... dare I say it possibly, maybe, perhaps, freebie day?

Maybe we'll learn about this torrent tomorrow.

Although I think it's just an expression.
