Right back at ya!

Hey, I'll be out of town for a while, but I'd love to get this thread posted. Can someone do it for me?

Topic Title: Treasure Hunt Coming Soon, Taking Donations

<From Tallima, who can't post for some reason>

I'll be hosting another treasure hunt soon. If you would like to donate GOG games to the treasure hunt, please send them to me now.

Note: This treasure hunt will be GOG-codes only, please. So if you have a few spare dollars during the sale, you'll make the treasure hunt even more exciting for those playing!

Want to look at some of the old treasure hunts?

Yeah something like that :D
I am hoping that you all will get bored with this and stop making up things. I should have never told you about my holidays ;-)

Also I don't know why you all want pictures. Owl sees me everday in her lab, you are spying all the time on us with your telescope, so there should be no need for pics :P

Happy 6-month anniversary, Conversational Free-For-All Thread.

I love this place. Quite a lot. If there is such thing as a "virtual home" (and I don't see why the hell there wouldn't be), this is it for me. I come here everyday, enjoy the wonderful people and company, and feel like I'm part of something good; a wonderful little community that means a lot to me, accepts me for who I am, cares about me, and lets me care about them in return.
The friendliness, kindness, generosity, and general awesomeness of the people here is really overwhelming. I hope this thread sticks around another 6 months, and another, and another. I can't imagine leaving. The people here are too good to let go... (and on top of all that, I have a deep personal attachment to this thread. Something I won't try to explain.)
I hope everyone loves being here as much as I do...
You people are the coolest...

So... Thanks to Crow for setting the place up. Thanks to GOG for letting us live here. And of course, most importantly, thanks to every single person here who contributes to making this the best thread of all time.

Here's to six great months, and hopefully many more to come. *toasts some of Owl's Legendary Hot Chocolate™*

Nothing is set in stone, but it looks like I might be headed back to the college that I started at, nearly eight years later! One of the fun things about being that weird kid who is barely 17 as a freshmen is that you can make it back to college within a decade and graduate with a four year degree and only be around thirty (give or take a few years). I'm cautiously optimistic, and more than a bit scared of how much science and math I've forgotten, ha!

What's kinda funny is that when I first went to that college I was briefly a bit bummed that it was a really tiny town that closed down around ten at night, considering that the town I grew up in was a lot like that. Now that I've lived around five years in a major city, I'm actually really looking forward to living in a small town again.

I'm still in university and I've already forgotten most of the math and science.
The key is pretending.
I am sleepy.
