LaPtiteBete: Ho... thanks !... No, it's quite clear, thank you :-)
I loved Age of Empires... I wish they add the series on GOG... I like RTS then. I don't know much about "4X" for the moment, but it's quite appealing, so I'll give them a try. (so... Minecraft is not a 4X either... you don't have to "exterminate"... but you definitely have the "exploration" part, and the infinite tech trees... but no... no diplomacy, you're on your own... :D)
Thanks !! :)
(Heh... Civilization is not on GOG ?... õ__ô)
Unfortunately not. I would like to see the CIV-games here and the AoE games as well. I played so much Age of Empires when i was kid *walks down memory lane* :)

They do have Call to power II and Alpha Centauri here, you could try those ;)

EndreWhiteMane: No canoe yet but we are under a flash flood watch again.
So far so good though. ;)
Well that's good - hopefully it won't get really serious.

Thanks for pointing out Call to power II, I never even looked at it because the name makes it sound more like a war game than a 'civ-like'. ;)
Don't drink the high water.
And there is always FreeCiv as an alternative.

Not normally but we've had a month and a half worth of rain in just a few days.
Our river and creeks are full to their banks and still rising.

I hope it won't get to bad. we have had some problems with the meuse here in the past, but we have an entire system of dikes and floodgates ...
Afternoon.

The other sale is managing to squeeze whatever blood this one still hadn't sucked off me yet.

We have the same and they usually work well.
In 2008 however the rain got so bad that over 2000 people, including me, lost their homes.
First time in history it got that bad. Needless to say flood warnings now make us a bit nervous.
Interesting fact: We call a dike a 'levy', though I have no idea where either word came from. :-)

If I buy any more I'll have to go give blood just to pay for it. :-)
