I think the problem was that HoMM3 was so good that it set the bar a little high. HoMM4 is playable. I'd say it's the worst of the series, but that may be because I played 1 & 2 back when they were fairly new. 2 is still playable, but 1 has a lot of years on it.

I think it's good enough that it deserves a fair shake. If you like the HoMM games, install it and give it a shot. Worst case, you play it for an hour or two and uninstall it when you see how awkward the combat is ^_^

Morning. Doing mostly fine. I have some neckpains because i fell asleep while sitting in front of the computer but otherwise i'm fine.
And i'll be having another work day with surveys which means my weekend will only start this evening....

But it's good to hear that your doing not too bad. And now the obligatory question: How many games left?
And i read that you played Retro City Rampage. Is it a good game - because i got it in an earlier sale but i have yet to play it.

Sleeping near the computer never ends well. People always end up in weird positions and hurt when they wake up.

61 left here, and it's going to slow down a bit since there's nothing left that's smaller than 2 gigs.
Really glad I'm not in the mood to play Tesla Effect, Sacred 2 or Witcher 2 right now since those will take the longest.

It's decent. It looks like an 8-bit version of old GTA, and it's obvious that the guy who made it wanted to get a whole lot of references in. If you find that kind of thing amusing, you'll enjoy it more, I'm sure.
For me, it's something different to play when I get tired of Kingdom Rush and Vampire Redemption, since those seem to be the latest handful of games I've decided to do.

Sacred 2 is that big? I mean i know that both Tesla Effect and Witcher 2 are big but Sacred 2...

The size on that one doesn't surprise me since the gameworld is extremely, insanely large and takes a huge amount of time to explore, with hundreds and hundreds of side quests.

Course, I still need to beat the first one...
