ddickinson: *Whacks Agent hard over the head (lucky you wear a helmet) for going to fight Owl*

You should know better, mister! Do you Americans not know a man should never go to harm a lady?

*big hug, and some ice for your head* :-)
Ah!!
Of course I know! ... That's why I conceded, apologized, hid in a bush, and offered a hug instead :"|

Thanks for the ice... it is a magic substance. Helps about 78% of all problems :-)
*big hug*

l0rdtr3k: *pets Gumball*Hello. What's your total haul of the sale.
Mine's very small due to low credit limit but I snagged some classics.
In number of games it wasn't big. Well, at least compared to others around here. :-)
However the cost was substantial considering the country where we both live. It is suffice to say I need only ~$0,50 to unlock Xenonauts.

ddickinson: I know. I would think that GOG would try to spice it up a little in order to compete more with the Steam sale. If it keeps like this for the rest of the sale then more and more people will just take their money over to Steam. I have never played any of the M&M games, but I know that a lot of people like them.

No games for me. I only had one game left on my wishlist anyway, and I can always pick that up another time.
avatar
ElTerprise: Exactly. I'm not sure what GOG is trying to achieve with that - or is it more likely that they're doing this because the Steam sale started an they can't compete anyway....at least that was the reason for the early start of the sale.

I haven't played any of these games either...

Yes. I saw that your wishlist is rather overseeable ;)
I'm just waiting for maybe Act of War to pick that up, because I missed the other times. Aside that... I already did shop for about 65€ on GoG this sale... Maybe HoMM V Bundle... But I doubt I need anything else.
avatar
ElTerprise: Hello again Agent *big hug*
Anything of interest for you on sale now?
*return hug*
Well, in a way, I'm interested in everything of course... Nothing in particular, though :-) I should be set until Winter.

j0ekerr: Welp guys. I'm off to play some S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Wish me some luck, from what I hear the game's initial difficulty can be described as getting your anus stretched wide enough to park a lorry inside.
So is like getting a goatse?Because I play on medium and it's very hard at times.

A toy lorry or a full size juggernaut? :-)

Have fun, the game is supposed to be lots of fun and a very good game!

AgentBirdnest: Mornoon again, everyone... Oh, hello Owl. Sorry about the unpleasantness this morning :"|
*apologetic hug*
ô__ô ... I hope you're still joking... !?
You're never unpleasant, my Agent !

I really want to play Xenonauts and the UFO series until 2K doesn't sign up.
Aloha all, doing just the low end of OK here today. Nothing specific, just a bit of old age harassing me.
Glad to hear all of you are at least OK and most better than that.
Tex bundle tempts me but I've already spent way to much this sale so I think a bit of restraint is in order. :-)
We got over 3 inches (76mm) of rain last night! A bit of flooding but nothing serious. At one point it was coming down at the rate of 2in/h, that's a LOT of rain, it was fun to watch. :-)

Thank you, my body guard !!! \o/
Well. As Agent said, he didn't really fight... He chickened out. n__n
But thanks anyway !! **Big happy thank-you hug**

LaPtiteBete: \o/ woohoo !!! that sounds much, much better !!
Oh... sorry about your muscle pain... :-( I hope it will pass quickly... as for the rest, I keep my fingers crossed that you'll have more news quickly, and hopefully good news of course (maybe tomorrow ... ?). I'll tell the sandman to pop over your house... beware not to shoot him, thinking it's a weird flying robber !!
Just be careful, they love to head-butt people sometimes. :-)

Thank you. I am sure it will be okay, but it is making the work a little difficult. I don't think I will get the news tomorrow, I am not sure they are open, so it will be next week, sometime. *sighs*

I do not keep my gun at home, it stays at the farm. I do have lots of authentic medieval weapons though, so I am sure I can still take the sandman out for intruding. :-)

Sounds about right... It was quite difficult for me at the beginning. It is more realistic than most shooters. Remember stamina, posture, moving, weapon sights. A lot of things affect your aim, and not all your shots will hit exactly where you aim. Weapons behave a little more "realistically" than most shooters.
Good luck. Hope it turns out to be enjoyable :-)

That's not how I saw it. I saw you get scared that Owl would kick your arse and so you ran away scared. :-)

*big hug, with a big jar of peanut butter*

Good day, Endre!

Sorry to hear you are not at least on the upper level of okay. Remember, you are only as old as the woman you feel. :-)

So you go from too hot, to flooding. You sure do get some extremes in weather in your part of the world. I hope things will not get too bad and you can just enjoy your summer.

*big happy hug to hopefully help cheer Endre up a little*

Hey Endre !! **Big bear hug**
Sorry to read you're not doing very well... hopefully it will get better as time goes...
I own the Tex bundle from a previouos sale, and I'm disappointed so far... the gameplay is horrible... I didn't try the more recent ones, though, only the 3 older...
Wow... that's a lot of water :-| hopefully no damages ?

ddickinson: I think GOG always starts the sale well, but then it just goes at a snails pace. I think they should have had less individual games on sale each day, that way they could have spread them our more. But I think if it keeps on like this then the have no chance of competing with the Steam sale (they can't beat Steam, but they sure can compete). But who knows, maybe it will all get better soon, but I kind of doubt it.

I removed the last game from my wishlist, as I did not want several people trying to gift me it at once. I feel so bad for having to turn down a persons gift.
I still hope for some surprise (but not Good News™ of course) but i don't think we're getting something like that. And i would agree. Either put more games from the catalogue on sale to have enough new deals each day or reduce the number of games on sale per day...
I'm not disappointed by the but i think it could've been more - especially compared to Steam...
