Are we? I never thought that way. And this quote is frankly pretty famous...:)
I don't remember much from TOS after all...

penumbren: In his office snorting cocaine before seeing his next patient? :P

I sort of hope that they're going to switch up the bundles. There are a number of 'standard' bundles that have been very popular in the past that haven't shown up yet, and I pretty much have everything out of this crop that I want. (Except the Gamers movies. I have the first one, but it was good enough that I'm still eyeing the rest of that bundle. I just can't convince myself that I "need" it at this point, no matter how much we laughed at the first movie. :)

j0ekerr: The classic D&D bundle is a classic. They cannot have a sale without it.
That said, most of everyone probably already has it.

He'd probably have injected it directly, it was all the rage amongst Victorian society.
They said last big sale they were retireing most of the old well trod bundles and we're going to be introducing new ones.

EndreWhiteMane: huh? ;)
OK, you're probably right.
The one I remember is "I'm a doctor Jim, not a bricklayer."
Trying to fix a silicon creature with a phaser wound.
And I thought your favourite would have been:
My dear girl, I'm a doctor. When I peek, it is in the line of duty.
And I'm also out, need to get some rest, or the (bones) doctor will be angry with me.

Night peeps, have fun and misbehave like there's no tomorrow! :-)

Night Hyper , rest well.
Goodnight everyone heading off to sleep :)

What games are we playing, folks? I'm enjoying myself with Kingdom Rush, a smile inducing medieval shoot-fest with a nice soundtrack and nifty swagger. Its early days yet, but its delivering a lot of fun.

I'm dividing my play time with Witcher 1 (I'm on chapter 3) and Empire Earth 1 (german campaign). Sometimes I throw another quick game in the middle. For example last sunday I finished Escape Goat (only the main rooms because the insanity rooms are really insane).

In my case, Nightmares from the Deep 3: Davy Jones, Micy Roll, finishing Pixel Puzzles: Japan, Monkey Island 2 (as soon as I finish a replay of the original Sam & Max), and probably Drew and Floating Pyramid next

Yes, it takes a bit of effort to get through those ;-) The main game was enough for me.

I don't think I could keep that many games going at one time. Two at a time suits me best. Not sure what I'll choose to go with Kingdom Rush, though.

OK, time for bed. Sleep well, people ;-)

Same thing with me. If try to play too many games I tend to abandon all of them.

I'm off too. Good night!

Stilton:
I'm actually juggling two, something I don't usually do. The "main" game is Alcatraz. I'm not a big adventure gamer but this one just had "something" about it that really made me curious. When it went up on day one or two it was an easy purchase (actually my only purchase so far LOL - that'll change tonight as I agonize over what makes the cut and what doesn't).

The game is fun. It's not changing my mind about what I don't like about point and clicks but the item puzzles put a smile on my face whenever I solve them. I broke into a grin when I located a cut rose last night and thought "THIS is the symbol of fleeting beauty I've been looking for!" The voice acting is great and I really like the two main characters. The environments are spot on - I don't know how they did it, but the first time I walked into a dingy coffee shop it FELT like a dingy, beatnik '50s coffee shop.

I'm also playing Pixel Piracy. It's a fun diversion. Mchack did me the huge favor of gifting it last night. It has a few quirks, but there's something fun about watching the little numbers next to my small crew steadily grow as their skills improve. Capturing a ship that actually looks like a ship is pretty easy early on. I'm hoping a bit more depth comes out as I play through and I think it might as I've found (but not yet purchased) quite a few skills and ship parts. As it is right now, it's doing a decent job of coasting me into the easier parts of the game. I'm curious what it'll be like once I start trying to build a ship, outfit it with weapons and crafting stuff.

I had a ton of fun with the combat in Terraria, but was a bit overwhelmed by the crafting. This game is sort of the opposite - the combat is a bit more automatic but the crafting / item part is much easier (at least so far) for me to approach, especially in the early going. Anyway, they're a nice set of games to go back and forth between depending on what I feel like playing.
