penumbren: Good afternoon, everyone! New round of games up in the same, I successfully avoided the temptation of Oceanhorn, and now I have the temptation of low, low prices to replace several games I have on Steam... I suspect those will also be avoided this time around.

How about the rest of you? What have you gotten, and what do you have your eye on?
Hi there again, enjoy your loud music and games?
I've added 13 games so far between a LOT of great gifts and a few purchases.
Not really anything else that's a big priority, Metro is nice but still to pricey for what I've spent already.
Like I really need more anyway. :-)
War, war never changes, and worms, they don't change either.

And a good thing, because they're perfect the way they are.

EndreWhiteMane: Any opinions on the Earth 21xx games?

Stilton: I think Agent's a fan, he's probably the one to ask. Although as our chirpy rabbit said, at that price....
Thanks, I'll ask Agent in the morning. My morning that is, yours is already here. :-)

Much like you I'm resisting the lure of the huge discountl. Keeping tight control over my money purse and waiting to see what else comes around, confident that we'll have a second round to catch those that we've missed.

Except when I don't, and I break down and go all... ONLY 4 MINUTES LEFT, MUST BUY BEFORE I LOSE THIS CHANCE!

Which might happen in another 11 hours with the Undying game.

Fun for all the family.

My eyelids are agreeing with you, but I'm forcing them into overtime because I want to leave the downloading so I have just one more day to get it done. A few more small files tonight (this morning) then I can attack the rest with hearty Viking enthusiasm tomorrow (later today).

The new update is a pretty good selection, some tempters there.

Wings of Prey gets my vote, I think, and a couple of the low priced items. Pretty good turn out this time.

I did! Now I've got more loud music on and will be playing more games, so win! :D

No big priorities for me, either, but definitely some big temptations. I've ended up with 22 games, counting some gifts (and 'package' games separately), but almost all of them were on the cheap side. I missed most of the Apogee games, since I wanted to see what else was up, but barring some amazing bundles, I'll be picking the rest of those up when they cycle back by, since I have fond memories of all of them from much younger days. I did pick up Crystal Caves, since that's one that I actually had all of and beat, years and years ago, and remember it as being more puzzling than frustrating. We'll see if that still holds true!

On a sidenote, listening to Pandora means every once in a while things like looking at the screen and going, "Is that a Journey song I don't know? I don't recognize that title AT ALL!........ oh. OOOOOOHHH, THAT's the name of that song!" *facepalm* Only took three decades to make that connection....

I have at least gotten to the point where I'm only buying things once a day. (yay, progress...?) I just wait until both halves are new and then figure out what I want versus what I can afford. It's not really the ratio I'd like it to be, but then, when is it ever? With this long of a sale, I'll actually have two more paychecks before it's over, but most of that money is already spoken for, so.... :P

Stilton: The moment of excitement approaches... Will it be good, will it be bad? Will anyone really give a sh!t...
It's got some interesting stuff. The thing is, it's now time to start considering every purchase rather than buzzsawing through them. Two high priority items are left, and they've yet to show up. If I spend the last of my money and they appear, that will be intensely irritating.

Also? Holy shit, my list isn't the biggest anymore. Penumbren has me beat.

ROFL. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. Mind you, it's mostly small-priced stuff: Duke Nukem 1+2, Crystal Caves, Star Control 1+2, 3, etc. I have yet to unlock Xenonauts, although I'm sure I will sooner rather than later, good intentions be damned.

Yes, my funds are unfortunately finite, and as sorely tempted as I am by several of the games in this latest crop, I have to consider things like eating and not behaving like a headless chicken. 'There's always next time,' is my current mantra, even if it does sound like, 'Get it now you dickhead.' Resolve, man, resolve!

That's the attitude I like ;-)

What's that old line about the road to insensate game overload being paved with good intentions? =)
