akhliber: I believe this wholeheartedly. ;)

I hope you are doing well!

CarrionCrow: If they're going to act like that's the case, I might as well run with it and reinforce their delusion.

Good evening. =)

Can't complain too much here, just chewing my way through a game, trying to not quit all together.

How're you doing?
Doing pretty well! We're starting Sarge in "puppy preschool" training starting this Saturday, and I've another round of really neat medical tests next week, so life is becoming pretty pleasantly busy of late. I'm quite used to having more free time than I have a clue what to do with, so it's been nice. :)

Okay, the stuff involving the puppy sounds good. Medical tests, though? Not so much.

Yes, it can be a good change of pace for things to get active for a while when you're not used to it.

Tests at the Mayo are most often quite fascinating though, and I've been trying to figure out what's causing my inability to hold down solids since 2010, so new tests are always quite welcome. And it's really interesting being there. :)
I'm so lazy that I forget I enjoy a faster pace to things from time to time. It's refreshing though.

CarrionCrow: Explanation - the game doesn't like them. It might seem like an inanimate object, but it does in fact dislike them personally.

As usual, I had a good laugh at your post, Crow. You do put things so well. :-)

What game would that be? I had a go at Long Live the Queen, following Tom's recommendation, and I found it absorbing and fascinating, albeit frustrating - but definitely worth playing. I've never played one of those Japanese games before, and this was not at all what I expected. I'm hooked.

added bonus: no pigeons ;-)

Yikes akhliber, no solids for 5 years? That is really scary. I hope they can fix it very soon. Give Sarge a pat from me, he is such a cute little fella.

I've actually occasionally been able to hold solids down, and am quite successful at holding down at least an Ensure or two daily, usually some coffee as well. And I do certainly have better days where I can eat real food, and they happen often enough that it's a damn nice treat when I can. Not ideal I suppose, but life could certainly be worse. :)
Hi to everyone else, hope you have or had a good day.

Sending a special hello to @PaliodiMonte - happy to hear your new job has worked out so well - and to @ElTerprise - give my very best regards to Jean Luc, and have a great time. :-)
Wouldn't it be wonderful if Patrick Stewart showed up!

moonshineshadow: *quick round of hugs and waves* Boring presentation at the moment so I thought to use the time to check on you :P

avatar
ZenWan: Hope you are all well, and that Moon, if she reads this, is recovered and enjoying her trip
avatar
moonshineshadow: *big hug* conference is nice but exhausting, but only tomorrow left, then I'll be on my way to holidays :D
Hi Moon, very good to see you - sorry for my mistake, I forgot that the conference came first. Glad it's going well, even though exhausting. But your holiday will fix that, I hope. Hope it's the best holiday of your life. :-D

It still doesn't sound good at all, but I commend you for being so cheerful. Not sure I could be. I really hope they can sort out the problem soon, so that you can get going on a good diet of junk food. <laughing>

Cleaning my IKEA bought computer desk. Boy that sure is a lot of dust.
Also wondering what should I do with all these old DVDs full of hentai I downloaded over the years. Specially since my current rig doesn't even have a DVD drive. The last one is labelled 2009.
