AgentBirdnest: I'd be interested to know what you think, once you are completely done with it. It's one that I've been on the fence aboot.
Enjoy the quiet, and have a good rest-of-day when it arrives :-)
*big hug*
I'm a handful of quests from being done, but I'll tell you this much so far: I do actually recommend taking a look at the walkthrough posted on the steam forums (it's stickied at the top of the discussions on the Steam page) so you don't miss optional quests, but also read it carefully if you want to avoid spoilers.
I *do* think it's worth playing, though I fear I gave DD the opposite impression quite recently. When I first started it, the combination of the dialogue and the voice acting (along with the fact that the little NPC icons in the corner of the screen are cartoonish, yet still have their lips moving all silly-like instead of just being there to represent who's talking, and the animations are pretty bad) had me really put off, as it seemed really contrived... but as I played I did at least find a good bit of depth in the story itself outside of the character-to-character dialogue. And the gameplay is quite accessible with a gamepad, especially for a side-scrolling sometimes-shooter (though I recommend focusing on melee combat as opposed to ranged when it comes to skill points.)
I'll say more once I've finished it. Seems it's time to actually work our way toward finishing errands. Woot! haha ;)
