ElTerprise: Well most of the LucasArts games were released prior to the implementation of region lock - now guess which game might be a problem for a certain country ;)
Wonder if Adolf would be proud to know he was still causing people trouble in 2016?

moonshineshadow: Well, the one I'd buy instantly is Indiana Jones Desktop Adventures. Since that's a 16bit game meaning I can't get it installed on modern systems.
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Mine runs fine in 32bit Vista. :P
Like I said. Can't get it to run on modern systems :P

Well maybe...but i think he'd be pretty enraged tbh...

That game's actually a prime example for the double standards between movies and games in Germany because none of the Indy movies had any trouble....
Funnily enough the international version of Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb is available here...

The adventure pack is not available on steam either btw...

I'll try it on 7 when I get a chance.

That's sad, can you even see it listed or is it just gone for you?

It's just not available...and using Google sends me to the steam mainpage....

That's more than a double standard, it just makes no sense. If they were pro nazi I wouldn't even want them here but they're not.
No it's 64 bit, I'm going to 'tinker' a a little. :-)
Good evening!

Hello Endre, EIT and Moon!

Suffering from the "I would like to, but can't quite catch sleep" syndrome again.

I already cut down the coffee regimen drastically, and make sure to do long evening walks. doesn't seem to be of much help.

Besides that I'm quite okay, but it sure is annoying. I could use that sleep after spending half of last night discussing the merit of smaller bosoms and fresh pizza with Endre :D

Good luck with that.
I don't believe it will work out but I certainly do hope so ;-)

Well it's beyond stupid - no doubt about that but still it's the way it it unfortunately - and since GOG implemented geo locks the game might show up after all...

Well good luck with that :)

:P

I have anxiety issues so sometimes sleep is hard to come by, it's gotten a lot better since I learned to take a pleasant subject to bed with me. It's quite relaxing to do.
Or, as my doctor told me, when your body gets tired enough, it will sleep. ;)

I like to attempt hopeless things sometimes, and once in a great while I even win. :-)

Good evening!
Sorry to hear that- hopefully you can get some sleep soon.

Speaking of sleep...i'm trying to catch some now. Wish you all a good night *big good night hugs and waves*

I get frightened very easily by drunk noise from the street. Living in the city center doesn't help a lot with that. It's some silly irrational fear I developed a few years ago bu it seems to be there to stay for the moment...

And the brain keeps running. I like to focus my thoughts on pretending to pet and stroke a likeable, soft furry animal when the cat is not itself present; but sometimes, well ...

And that is true too ;)

Running Koyaanisqatsi in the background and drawing for a bit ...

I hope you have better luck at it than I do!

Good night Rayman, sleep well and wake up without a headache.

Noises like that drive me nuts too, that's why I keep a fairly loud fan running in the bedroom at all times.

I often keep the windows shut tight, that is of considerable help.

It also means the oxygen stock drops rapidly, but side effects... It's a trade-off I'm willing to make.

Soft music sometimes helps too, and the cat's presence in my lap is also very calming.

But I've never been an easy sleeper. At least I don't suffer from nightmares as much anymore as I used to.
