ddickinson: That sounds unpleasant, sorry to hear about your hand. Be sure to get it dressed and hopefully it will be good as new in no time.

Does We Happy Few catch your eye?

I am not sure about the weekend promo. Are there any games you are hoping will appear?
Not much need for a dressing, barely even for a band aid, a paper cut is the closest thing to compare it to.
That's not to say paper cuts aren't annoying.

Visually and story-wise? It most certainly does. Acid-fueled dystopian society? Sign me up!
Mechanically though, let's just say that survival crafting is not really my thing. Got enough of that with minectraft.

Not really, but speculating over what might be, can be fun.
Except about what the hell happened at the end of Mass Effect 3. That was a rage-inducing exercise in misery.

They can indeed hurt, along with grass cuts. I guess you will just have to be more careful next time. :-)

The game does look interesting, and has a nice visual style, but I have heard some mixed things about the game, it being boring and repetitive, that little improvement has been made over the last year, and other less than positive things. At least In Development gets a 14 day money back guarantee, so people can try it out and decide for themselves.

Okay then, I will guess we will get a Disney themed promo.

I've hear that too, and that's what worries me. In-dev/early access is supposed (more so for a game like this) one step beyond beta. This is what the game will be like. What's left to do is iron out the kinks, work out the bugs, and make sure it's properly balanced, but no major changes beyond that. And the overall impresssion I get is that, that won't be enough this time.
I'll just wait and see.

Hurm, that means Star Wars/LucasArts games. Good choice.

In completely unrelated news. I decided to test out Pokemon GO in my newly acquired moto g.
Turns out that without a gyroscope (which the moto g lacks) the app will puke at you a message saying "Not detecting phone orientation" and the Augmented Reality part will not work, which makes the game lose about 90% of its appeal to me.

You are too old fashioned, now early access can be for pre-alphas it would seem. :-)
Not that this game in question is, but some do seem to feel the lack of updates after so long is a bad sign.

Well some think we might get more Disney games soon, so maybe a promo to go along with the releases of new games?

And I have no idea about Pokemon Go. All I know is that people are idiots. I wonder if it is Japans way of culling the human race by removing those really silly people who walk off cliffs or into mine fields and things. *shrugs*

*big silly hug*

Well what if it is somewhere simple and dull? It could just be somewhere nice and quiet, not anywhere too exotic.
Meeeheh ):■|
Well, it can be simple and great, you don't necessarily have to go very far to find some really nice places, and have fun :-)If it's dull, well, blame your partner ;-P since she chose the destination...

I don't mind where it is really, it will just be nice to get away from everything for a while. But it won't be somewhere too dull, I mean, it is not like we are going to France. :-p
(I am joking, France is a lovely country.)

Argh... heading to work again. Weekend, could you somehow just, like, arrive now? :)

31 hours spent with Dragon Age, 15% completed - says the in-game stats screen... this might take a while

Also checked out Party Hard - seems a bit like Hotline Miami, except the "hero" is properly gone mad. Certainly a unique concept, and takes you away from real world for a bit... but murdering throngs of people level after level just because they are noisy... mad, bizarre, nutty.
Welp.... GamersGate appears to have retired it's "gametutor" a.k.a. the forums.

Thing is... they appear to have DELETED everything.
Least I can't get anything to show.
Despite being poorly managed & have tons of unsolved topics there was actually some useful information about getting some of their games to run.
They should have just disallowed new topics.

Have a nice time at work. I will see what I can do about making the weekend come sooner. Give me a few days and I think I can get him to you. :-)

31 hours and still only 15% complete? That is impressive. I am not sure if that makes me want to try it, or puts me off due to the time investment.

I have seen the game, but I can't say I know too much about it. I did not know it was like Hotline Miami, but then I have not really played they either.

That's why the Darwin Awards always make me laugh.

Maybe it's only counting achievements for the completion rate? Because you're definitely a lot further than 15% in. :P

That sounds like fun, and I am glad to hear you are doing fine.

I am good for the most part, thank you.

Hm, yes, "fun". :P I know more about post stamps and wrappers than I ever wanted to. But it's for a good cause, I suppose. :)

*big hope you feel even better soon hug*
