EndreWhiteMane: Sparkly hugs? How nice to see it so cheerful in here! :-)
Good evening all.

ddickinson: *big glittery hug* :-)

Good evening, lovely Mr Endre of the Americas. How are you today, did work go well?
Work was much more relaxed than yesterday so I'm doing quite well thanks, glad to hear you are doing at least OK and looking forward to a holiday.

Good to hear you're doing okay. *magical hug* Anything nice planned for the upcoming weekend?
avatar
ElTerprise: Good point :P

Well for it has been the other way round since the exam. Ah that's one i'm eyeing for some time now :)
I still need to catch up on 2 1/2 seasons of Game of Thrones too. :P Penny Dreadful is quite good, I like it.

FearfulSymmetry: It doesn't sound mean at all. Sometimes you just need to get away from all the problems and annoyances of your normal life for a bit. It's completely normal to want to have some "me time" without people nagging at you all the time, even if you're happy to help them mostly. You've got to recharge yourself every once in a while. :P

Well, I bought Rise of the Tomb Raider a few months back hoping against hope that it would run on my laptop ... but I only get about 4 fps out of it, so it's unplayable. So when I have my new computer I'll finally be able to play that game. It's been sitting on my shelf for like four months by now. :P

*tries to think of a better hug than one with fireworks* Hmmm ... *big hug with pie*
*big thank you hug*

That sounds like a good game to start with. I have heard some good things about the newer Tomb Raider games. I hope you get lots and lots of fun out of your new system.

*big hug with shooting stars*

Working Saturday, Sunday I'm going to absolutely refuse to do anything unless it's fun. :-)

Yeah, I played the Tomb Raider reboot that came out a few years back and really enjoyed it. So I'm hoping this one will be fun too. :) Thank you! I'm sure I will.

Oh, I really can't beat that. :P *big silly but heartfelt normal hug*

I did finally get around to watching season 10 of the X-Files (binge watched it all today). It was okay, but still kind of a letdown.

I stopped watching after season 3 because I felt the show was getting too far away from the books. But now that they're progressed beyond the books I kind of want to watch again, but first I need to catch up on what I missed. :P

Well I've watched some rather lenghty series and they usually get weaker in later seasons. I guess most series are running for two long. Even the really good ones...

Well there is the other problem. I have to catch up the books after the first one :P

ElTerprise: That's nice - we got a rather neat 24°C here today which was really good because i was cycling today - so yes i'm enjoying the nice weather indeed :)

You're welcome :)
Unfortunately so - i hoped we progressed beyond homophobia but we haven't...
Is your wether due to get cooler, or are you due more hot days? It seems like a nice temperature for cycling.

Oh it is still there, the same as things like sexism and other prejudices. I think part of it was the new owners son being a creepy guy and not liking it when people tell him no. We also think it was him and/or his family that made some complaints and allegations about my partner and her teaching her dance classes, which could have lost her the classes. Luckily the local council are not such bigots and know damn well it was all lies so nothing bad really came of that, especially as the older students and the parents of the younger students spoke out in support, which was really sweet of them. I am still sorely tempted to ask a few people to pay him a visit and beat some manners into him and maybe break his sexist, bigoted face, but he is not worth it and I won't lower myself to his kind of level. It just really annoys me this has all been done for no reason at all, my partner did nothing at all to them, in fact she has worked hard to get things back on track once they took over the ownership of the stables. There was zero justification for it, other than my partner telling their son to keep his hands and his comments to himself, which is still not justification as he should not be such a creep. Anyway, I will stop rambling. :-)

How have you been liking the new releases?

That is good to hear. How is the weather there for you, has it started to cool down to a more reasonable temperature for you?

Thank you.

I never understood why in some of the games they call her Laura now, and not Lara. I have heard a few bad things about the more newer game, but mostly good things, so hopefully they will give you a lot of fun.

*big super silly heartfelt abnormal hug*

It's warming up again but to normal 'hot as hell' July/August temps, which are tolerable.

So still perfect mankini weather then for a few more months. :-)

Well from what i've heard it should that way for the next days which would be nice because it would offer me an opportunity to play beach volleyball on the weekend :)

Oh i know that it's still there ...
That's horrible. What a gigantic arsehole that son is and there is nothing you and your can do against that right? I detest violence but that guy would totally deserve a beating for that.

I don't know....nothing really for me. The InDev game sounds interesting but i have no plans to get that before it's out which might take one year...

That would be nice. Hopefully you have a few good matches while the weather is nice.

Sadly not, it would be a case of our word against theirs, unfortunately. And I tend to agree, he does deserve it, but I am not going to lower myself to that level or risk getting others in trouble. Although if he had cost my partner her teaching her classes then I might not have stopped myself. But at the end of the day it is not the end of the world. Yes it is annoying and puts us in a hard position and could effect a few things, but we will be fine, we already have a few things in the works that might turn out well. These things happen, and it is not like it is the only time we have ran into these problems.

From what I have heard it has been a year and little changes were made. And others have said the game is quite dull. One of those games with an interesting premise, but one that fails to deliver. So I think you are wise to wait and see how it turns out.

For what it's worth, I'm sorry this guy gave you and your partner so much trouble. I'm not sure what else to say other than I empathize with you.
