FearfulSymmetry: I'm here! And to my surprise I saw the movie in IMAX 3D, so that was pretty impressive. I quite liked it although it wasn't mind-blowing. What did you think?
Yay! I can't watch 3D because it makes me dizzy with my glasses on, and I can't see details with my glasses off. I loved it a lot, much more than the 2nd one. You're right, it wasn't mind blowing, but it did something very important for me: it made McCoy a main character again. He had more scenes than he did in the 1st and 2nd one combined. He's my favorite character, and I hated how he was hardly important in the other movies. And I used to love the Spock/McCoy banter in the originals, that was basically non-existent in the new ones, so I was so happy to see some! In fact, there was a bunch, and I couldn't help but giggle through the whole movie.

Yes, McCoy was awesome, I really enjoyed him in this. And you're right about that banter, that was indeed good. There were indeed quite a lot of funny moments.

I can understand about the problems with 3D. I can do it when I'm wearing my glasses but it's not awesome. And fast bits and shots of landscapes make me kind of nauseous in 3D. :P

I saw The Secret Life of Pets yesterday with a family member. It was funny because the adults were laughing more than the kids. Definitely worth seeing, and the message it sends is a good one.

Leucius: I have not tried Pokemon Go, but I have a lot of friends and family who play it.
I haven't either, don't have a smart phone yet :)
I guess it might be fun to try. Not sure about is there much more to it than just running around ;)
Well...Witchblade the series is better than its pilot movie, who'd have thought that?
Good noon everybody !
I hope you're all having a pleasant and sunny Sunday :)

superstande: So... Pokemon Go.. anybody tried?
I just tried, it has finally been released here today. But since I'm still in pajamas, I couldn't go out of my house lol :D
I used an alt email adress that I just created for it... I still wonder about the privacy and stuff, because I heard that the app could access a lot of personal information through your smartphone... and it would be a golden target for hackers... any idea, advice ?... :-\
Otherwise it seems a nice annd funny app... what do you think about it, Sup ?

Yes, that sounds smart, using an alt address. It's a new thing and the hacker threat is probably quite real. Hope the developers and publishers of the game make it as secure as possible. At this point, it might be good to give as little personal information as possible... Or just make something up :)

I've heard some people have fun time with it. I guess it's a nice way to go out and have some exercise and possibly meet new people :)
If it's still working in the Autumn when I can get a smartphone, I'd like to try it!
Morning all, hope you're all doing well and the weather isn't too evil where you are.
Lazy Sunday here with coffee (mistake) and ice water (much better).
*hugs, waves, ice cubes*
Hello dead thread, how are you today? I'm hot 'cause I had to turn the air off for a while so it could defrost.
Carry on.
Howdy Endre... It's quite warm, but surely nowhere near like over there. Hope you get to put the air con on again later today.
Played quite a bit of Dragon Age today, it's been fun.

I've been messing with "Planet of the Eyes", fun little thing, don't feel ambitious enough for a big game today. ;-)
**big random evening hugs to the dead thread** :-))
