Hello to anyone who arrived since I was last here!

avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Same here, I think that's the first time for that bug. :/
*big hug for the farmgirl*
Well it seems to have been fixed. Do we get to pretend we owned more games and claim GOG lost them during this bug? :-)

How are you today, lovely Mr Endre of the sauna people? Just remember to keep the towel on, it is not that type of sauna. :-)

*big silly hug*

avatar
AgentBirdnest: The wishlist and Orders & Settings pages as well :-(
Maybe we are being erased, removed to make way for new customers who don't complain as much as the older gamers do. :-)

Hello farm lady! Doing oK here except trying to outguess the weather and decide whether to cancel classes this week. Dangerous high temperatures coming along with rain chances are making it a tough call.
*big air conditioned hug*
Good Afternoons!

I don't want to go back to work! Help! :P
Actually I've gone to work... but ... I think it's fair to ask anybody to work only a day per year.
*feeling lazy*

That does not sound good. I am not a big fan of the heat, it is about 27C-29C here (*pauses while the US Fredonians laugh hysterically at how low that is compared to their temperature*) and that is hot enough for me, I can't imagine how bad it must be in more warmer regions. But I guess at least you have AC, although that probably is not a big help, specially during your classes. While I know you enjoy your classes, you don't want to risk anything bad happening, like you or the students passing out due to the heat.

*big cooling hug with lots of ice*

Love it. Need to go get some blocks of ice. :-)

ddickinson: And how do you know she is a she? Did you look up her skirt? Well jokes on you, that was not a skirt, it was a kilt. Which is the same as a skirt but they call it a kilt to make it sound more manly. :-)

*big silly hug*
Well the definite article kinda gives it away ;)
Interesting that you immediately think of something naughty though ;)
*big silly return hug*

CarrionCrow: A quick heads-up for you - just ran across a bugged riddle. Informants don't show up anymore, and the one riddle never showed on my map.
Oh that's just great. Maybe i should play Origins instead to get a full experience of that :P

Origins has bugged informants...
Also, it's festering dog shit.

CarrionCrow: My eye won't stop twitching, I now refer to Arkham City as "son of a whore" more frequently than I ever use its real name, and I want it to die in a succession of progressively larger and larger fires.
Can't complain too much aside from that. -laughs-
I thought that game had been patched enough.
Now I learn it's still broken?

Another little hello from this little corner of the world. Sarge has been napping, and I've showered/shaved and gotten lots of cleaning done. I've been making a point of listening to music I don't usually gravitate towards, and I've done a bit of reading and a bit of "lazy reading" (looking at video game art books) and made a bit of iced coffee. It's been an oddly delightful day. :)
*big hugs all around*

Are you discovering that you like anything that you didn't before?
And hello yourself :-) *big hug*

Oddly, lots of things. One of the record companies I recently purchased a couple boxed sets from specializes in old soul and gospel music, and also has a lot of 70's prog / garage metal and folk I would have never heard before... it's no surprise to find 70's rock and folk artists that I enjoy, but soul and gospel are both genres that have almost no representation in my personal collection, as I've just been exposed to very little outside of top 40s radio hits and such...
I've been a bit blown away to find that soul is a lot like "alternative/indie" as far as genres are concerned... there's what you hear on the radio, and then there's a whole world of stuff to be discovered beyond that just leaves me feeling delightfully overwhelmed... It's like looking at my Wall of Games and realizing I'll never live long enough to enjoy all of what's there... it's refreshing to see the same is true for music, and that it's not limited to my own limited perspective and tastes. There's a world of amazing stuff out there that other folks have created, enough so that my own creative impulses are almost completely sated just by means of consumption. :)
Good evening, lovely thread of Fred!
