NoNewTaleToTell: So I restarted Fallout 1 and am having my best run in it yet. My character is very strong so far in fights but is also extremely intelligent (which makes dialogue easier) and so far has no glaring weak spots. I managed to complete the first major task in a "good" manner, got my first companion, the ghouls love me so far, Shady Springs thinks I'm neat and everybody is just a bit nicer than they were to my other characters. I think this might be it, the playthrough where I actually finish the game.

Real life is going pretty well too, so I can't complain :) I hope you're all doing well too

Fallout 1 is a fun game, still wanting to go back and play through it again.
Nothing says fun like blasting a pack of gangers with a nice sub-machine gun. -laughs-

Doing all right here. Wiped out Shadow of Mordor and Batman: Arkham Asylum, now I've got six dozen games on my desktop to choose from for the next item.

NoNewTaleToTell: How did you like Shadow of Mordor? I've got it on my wishlist but honestly I'm still not too sure what the game even is? Open world? Sandbox?

Open World, though the world isn't too big like in most open world games.
You have this system where orcs kill you and gain power/ranks. (also by fighting each other)
So you can help certain ones get stronger so they drop better stuff when you finally kill them.
They also make comments on you dying last time you fought them, wanting revenge etc.
