Beer time.

Just a hello before heading off to bed. Just played Dex for a good hour or two. It's enjoyable enough, but I'm pretty sure the only thing that kept me playing was the fact that I'd already started, and it wasn't Arkham City... and as I was a bit pissed at Arkham City, it just felt good to continue playing "not-Arkham City."

Not sure what to say about Dex otherwise... the writing seems pretty bad, but I'm still finding it fun to play. The dialog is just awful at times, and the voice acting is pretty painful, but it's enjoyable enough I'll likely play it through.

I've taken a good stab at Axiom Verge, but I hit a place where I can't backtrack (and may not be able to for some time) and I'm pretty sure I missed some weapons/power-ups, so I think I'll be starting this one over. It's easily one of my favorite "Metroidvanias" just from the time I have put in with it.

Have been playing Rainbow Moon on my PSVita - got it from the Big In Japan PStore sale. Quite a few good jrpgs for a few bucks. A proper discount finally. Even Persona 4 Golden is about 5 euros...

There was a funny dude that seemed like complete hustler to me but who knows, that I met yesterday...
"My name is Krishna. I am Buddha, I am lotus-born," he introduced himself, a skinny young Indian-looking fellow who played a strange flute-instrument... :) And then he gestured for me to give a donation :)

I said, "If you're a Buddha, you don't need to tell..." and walked off. Maybe I was a bit too harsh... But hustling gets old pretty quick :)

For some unknown reason I decided to give Legendary some of my time last night and what would ya know, I got through the part I had gotten stuck on, in only two attempts! Another show of the game being somewhat badly designed, there was one small place you could safely stand while fighting the boss, it was liable to one hit kill you if you were anywhere else. Anyway, I had thought that it might be the last level but nope, the game continues on.

It's not a bad game, it's just poorly designed in places and uses the dastardly checkpoint system. Well worth the fifty cents I paid for it, but it's taken me over a year to get where I'm at.

Anyway, I hope everybody is doing well here! :)
