TotalViking: Our cat has always been a bit "special". When we first got him as a kitten he would have consistent problems with depth perception and often end up walking to walls, doors, or anything else. When it came to the water bowl, it was clear that he couldn't see the water line so he'd slowly lower his nose into the bowl and then decide that there isn't any water before dunking his face in it and being surprised that there
now is water in the bowl.
He is a resilient cat though, he's the only moggie out of 5 that has survived a car.
Yeah, usually they manage to adapt to problems quite well. Our cat only goes outside in our garden, so luckily we haven't had any car-related incidents.
ElTerprise: Good evening everyone *big hugs and waves*
Finally home from university...took quite a bit longer than expected. Hope you're all doing fine - cannot say the same for me unfortunately as i'm currently having a really nasty headache...
Hey ElT, hope your headache settles down soon.
CarrionCrow: Hey there, good evening. =)
Sounds like, unless he thinks that rules are different for the dog's bowl and his own.
Or, maybe he always knew and wanted to sucker you into getting him the nice fountain add-on. -laughs-
Good evening to you too! How are you doing?
Yeah, or he learned how to drink water from a bowl just to spite the dog by drinking from her bowl ... He likes to wash his feet in her water bowl as well, just to make a point. And yep, he's definitely a luxury-cat, so there might be some truth to that. For instance, he'll only beg for our expensive meat, not for the cheap stuff. :P
