I would recommend Crimzon Clover if anyone here doesn't own it yet. Even if you're not used to bullet hell games it has an easy mode that is quite managable.

Pixeljunk Shooter is great but we never got the Ultimate Edition that includes a new optional graphics style and the content from the second game.

Well too bad :P

Pretty sure the sequel by itself isn't on PC.
The only way to play 2 is through that Ultimate Edition.

Quite honestly, I've not heard of that one before, but it looks from the reviews like lots of folks like it as a co-op game. Afraid I can't tell you much beyond that. I thought I'd heard of it when you first mentioned it, but it doesn't look familiar at all. Sorry I can't help more!

Would you like to try it? I have it DRM-Free from Humble and I think it comes with a Steam key. As you are the only other regular on here that I think plays local co-op, I figured it might be a game you and your lovely lady would like to play? It is quite fun, me and my partner have played it a few times. The game can be played over the phone or Skye etc, but as i only possibly have one spare Steam key I figured I would try to find someone who could use it for local co-op.

Can't complain here. Playing some Shadow of Mordor before it gets so godsdamned miserably hot that I can't run it without screwing up my computer.

So, great and terrible? That does not sound too good, unless the great more than makes up for the terrible?

It is a lovely game, quite fun. It can be played over voice chat quite easily, but it would require two copies if you both want to take turns with the bomb. I have not played much of it, but so far it is fun.
